I been following Dax since the early days in Acid Bath. I got to see them open for D.R.I. back in the Rotten Records days! Deadboy and the Elephant Men was brilliant, as well as Agents of Obliveon! Dax Riggs is pure musical GENIUS!!!

amazing as always. is dax even alive? he has captured death so well since his acid bath days, i often wonder if he is really alive? I saw him again november 13th 2010 and he sounded unreal again! We spoke to him so i know he is alive, but listen close and you tell me. He describes death so well, like a frequently driven back road. He seems to be able to express death better than anyone. For him it's like reminiscing about an old friend. We still dig you dax, since main street 1994. rip audie

So few people even know who I am talking about when I mention Dax and his ability. This is, for sure, one of his most haunting songs ever. The cover he does of "Famous Blue Raincoat" is quite haunting as well. I saw him in Asheville NC back in 07 and he did an AMAZING version of Evil Friend that I have never heard him do since. It was so melodic and haunting. Dax truly is THE most under rated singer/songwriter out there.

Same here, I've never gotten tired of anything Dax put his mind into making. Everything is just so imaginative.

I feel like Black Crayon is one of his most haunting songs, but I guess that all boils down to personal preference in the end.
