Curling takes more then just throwing a rock down the ice and sweeping. You have to know what shot you want, the weight you need to throw, and whether or not it needs to be swept. But even then they can miss shots.

Sorry Riley, the pre-games favorites in women's curling is the United States and should be doing better.

Hey, curling rules! But if you don't get it, it is really hard to follow. The sweeping controls how much the spin of the rock will cause it to curl. And trust me, curling requires technique. If football is a game of inches, then curling is a game of millimetres.

The only way to really get the strategy behind curling I suppose is to watch a few matches.

Im from Canada, and the Canada vs. US hockey team is going to be more epic than the World Juniors! I'm stoked!

And though I don't curl, I have tried it in the past, and it's a lot more difficult than it looks - like golf, which is also an Olympic Sport. It takes concentration, position, weight specification, and an understanding of how the rocks curl at certain times. To practice for curling, is the same as to practice for any other sport. You just play, learn from mistakes, and keep trying.

Vancouver cut the funding to over 40 schools and Riverveiw Mental Institution, forcing children into other, already over crowded schools, and mentally ill onto the streets to starve to death.
