@Expinaxa I'm about that LVL when I attempted 2 beat the final boss(es) I used only about 5 shurikens & failed. I had a Knight(who I will make in2 a Viking after job LVL 99), DK( same but Dragoon), Ninja( already job LVL 99 thief I <3 stealing in games) ,& a Sage(I prefer 2 have my magic user balenced) what's yo FC? You first have to kill Echidna, Cerberus, Two-Headed Dragon, and Ahriman to make them appear. Otherwise, CoD is pretty much invincible.

I feel your pain, I was pretty much in the exact same situation :( leveled for hours and hours just to kick the bucket, I hope who ever decided to remove the save point before the last boss got fired for incompetence.

the very first time you battle her, you can't win, just die and let the story continue, the second time, you must get the four dark warriors from the dark crystals to make her vulnerable.

The 4 Warriors of Darkness won't appear in the cutscene... and you'll still be doing nothing to that darn Cloud Of Darkness. I didn't beat them, I didn't get the scene, I challenged the final boss, I did 0 damage at all, I lost... miserably

First off, never use Red Mage, never use Knight, and never use Archer. They are all (besides Scholar) the WORST classes inthe game.

Use my party:

Dragoon

Ninja

Summoner

Devout

I killed her with all of them at level 50.

What's wrong with a Knight?

That's the only class I can think of that can wield Ragnarok and Excalibur at the same time.

Two of the best weapons.

It stats are too low to account for anything more than a tank, it mainly designed for defensive purposes, has no special features (casting poisona and cure hardly counts) and is slow. Plus, a Ninja with a Masamune and a Rising Sun is more powerful because it can throw shuriken and it's really fast. An Onion Knight can equip anything including the really powerful Onion Equipment. A Black Belt has the boost ability and insanely high strength, and the Drgoon has the Jump ability and high speed too.

You have to beat each of the bosses in the world of darkness and unlock all of the warriors of darkness before you can beat the Cloud. Go to each of the branches in stead of immediately going for the Cloud itself.

Someone can beat the game with all freelancer and I still can't beat it with jobs. I'm also getting very bored of the same crap over and over just trying to reach the final boss. I ether get lucky and beat the 4 and then die on the final boss or die trying to beat the 4.

Blackluster, I don't know if anyone posted this (I don't like reading through pages of comments), but the Cloud of Darkness has only 120,000 HP, not 199,999 HP. The Iron Giant is the one that has 199,999 HP. You should probably edit your description.

CoD HAS 199.999 hp, but the dark knights you saved

chip off 20K for each one, on top of that, if you save them all,

her Particle beam isnt overpowered anymore.

That's the thing though, you pretty much HAVE to kill the 4 monsters to save the Warriors of Darkness, otherwise the Cloud of Darkness is unbeatable. It doesn't matter if she has 199,999 HP, because unless Cerberus, Ahriman, Echidna and Two-Headed Dragon are dead, it's like she has unlimited health because you'll never live long enough to kill her. All that matters is her HP in her beatable form.

If i were you i would i have at least one person that heals, you should need it, the particle beam of the CoD is really strong! Also be sure to have one or two shuriken trowing ninja's in your team..But you can also choose for the traditional party:

Ninja - Ninja - 2 Devouts or 2 Sages..
