    So, this is why only Heavy gets melee weaponry, because the other classes would fail at hand to hand combat.

    But idont know howto display the Mesh +Skeleton in Endorphin... if its possible, idk. But i got the Animations back into Milkshape, and from there i made alot Source Models with Anims.

  • no, its not gta 4, Gta 4 uses euphoria- another you could say ragdoll thing but, it's not really, i'm not sure what to call it. This is using endorphin. If your curious about euphoria, which i certainly was. Go onto the website.

  • no, it's played perfectly in the source engine, but i don't know how to merge 2 skeletons, have to do everything manually

    Please could you make a tutorial of importing/decompiling TF2 models to a modelling program and how do you change the animations etc? (for interlopers)

  • I'm still in the process of working out all the bugs. Even though you can't see it, his eyes look like he's been staring at his nose. They point off in all sorts of weird directions.

  • This is only a proof of concept showing that it is possible to get a pipeline set up between these programs. I'm sorry if you were expecting a masterpiece.

    Also, what do you meant he animations are already scripted in the source? Animations are either stored within the character's mdl file or are loaded from an external one.

    Also, please point me towards these other tutorials you found "all over the internet" so I don't have to rehash their information within my own tutorial.

  • right, but you combine somehow, the endorphin .fbx animation with valve biped, using softimage CAT, i spend couple of weeks thying to do that, but i got now were. that's it

  • @NakedCreep Yes, they are too model-wise. If you still think it isnt than explain to me why there is a combine_soldier_anims.MDL in the game files. :P

    I'm tired of seeing comments by people with no sense of grammar and spelling on all these 3D animations asking for the tutorial on how to make one.

    No doubt, it's probably only me who gets annoyed by these people. It seems to be the same people who ask the song name when it's right under the video or in the title. It seems to be the same people who ask for the source code of an indie game.

    But it's just me.

  • So you decompile source models and export them into 3DSMax then add the exported animations from Endorphin onto those models then export them back into the game? I might have to give this a try, It would be extremely useful for my own machinima ideas. Only difference is that I use XSI.
