In this year Luke and Noah have a kiss. This is a first kiss in american daytime drama. Luke and Noah is a characters in second longest running american soap opera - As the world turns. You can see this soap in the clip, but you can't see the kiss, cause this scene from this clip is from year 2006. Kiss between Luke and Noah is from year 2007. And Noah appeared to ATWT in 2007.

Insulting Actors and their looks is unnesiasary. Also, there are shows as mentioned (Degrassi, All My children) that show same sex kissing. The US IS getting better about it.

your wrong. there are shows that have had gay peeps kissing. as for soaps, All my children had lesbians kissing and there are other shows like canadian based degrassi on the-n which show same sex partners kissing. but still they US has a way to go before it is totally tolerant of different lifestyles.

I am referring to "Two Men" kissing on a US Soap. I've never seen it done although it's been done on All My Children.

One of the actors Adam Rickett who played Sarah's brother Nick, is a Gay Icon whose been on the cover of many Gay Magazines. Yet, CS was brave enough to show two men "kissing" something that hasn't been done on US TV.

The thing I dont understand is that the UK is supposed to be over its anti-gay problems but they actually seem worse than America's. I am from the UK and I am lead to believe they are a big hypocrite through this.

I would have to admit that the scene from CS seemed a bit more reality based, though I watched Luke come out on ATWT, and, while the storyline was laced with outlandish subplots, the core story and the reaction of his parents/friends/family was very well done in my opinion.

actually, the UK soap seems alot more juicer. I mean 2 old ladies fighting in the street with one wearing a bath robe??? LOL

Oh and "As the world turns" certainly does have some ugly actors.
