  • This video kinda annoys me because I thought that Damon is a vegetarian while they're showing him making sausage and bacon.

  • @Emilybudgie bacon is delicious. Why wouldn't he?

  • Kingdom Of Doom is an amazing tune but if you like this you should search:

THE VINYLS-GET IT OUT OF YOUR HEAD

It only takes 3min and this band are definitely worth checking out!

  • Do you know what they are doing there?

Having a meal while the Zombie Invasion :)

  • FUCK! I've once been on this track! But I didn't knew that this has been recorded there!

  • What? common Blur-The Good Bad And The Queen-Gorillaz-Space Monkeyz-Damon Albarn they sound all like 2D. But there is only one true 2D.

  • @MisterTibTib and who do you think might that be?

Besides, on the Album "Plastic Beach" Damon was not completely singing the song "Superfast Jellyfish".. check out the making of, somewhere on youtube here

  • Tony Allen for President

  • good stuff, could do with another TGTBTQ album.

  • This music video is so fucking image based of being british it makes me want to puke.

  • Sausages,it was a Tuesday

  • That is so awesome...I heard this song on Jango, and was like "Oh wow, that guy sounds identical to Damon Albarn!", and it made me a bit sad because I realized until then, how unique his voice was. Then I come here and find out it WAS him. So it's all good. :D

I wonder how I haven't heard about this album before? It's so lovely. >w<

  • please touch me Damon!!!!! Once!!! I touched you once in Frankfurt/Germany! ;-D

  • A great band with great artists.

  • Maybe the best thing Albarn has been involved with.

  • Damon is a genious :')

  • This song makes 240p acceptable.

  • He's just amazing and he was so cute when he was younger (not that he isn't now but age takes a toll on everyone)

  • Damon? Make me supper?

  • amazing bass how sweet the sound, that made a song like this.

  • 43 idiotas no saben de la vida

  • THEY WILL BACK!

    November 10 - London

  • It's all about the Burton for me.

  • THEY PIONEERED EPIC MEAL TIME

  • why is it that everything damon touches turns to gold?

  • it's so weird to see the imbodyment of punk frying eggs and bacon. weird but nice. I will forever and always have a thing for paul simonon!

  • do any thing just to see Paul play!

  • I wish I was there D:

  • anybody knows some news of the band ? new album ? when where how ?

  • Dangermouse!

  • what a song, like syd barrett, early floyd.

  • Awesome band, amazing music, boring fucking video!!!

  • I find it extremely annoying that this band has no name

  • One has to admit that the projects D. Albarn takes part in, turn out really good. Its not just the music, but also the message that goes with it.

  • I'm most surprised that Tony Allen from Fela Kuti's band is with these guys, that is pretty interesting.

  • where could i find this band cd?

  • @thejyckle

Unless you find some lying on the street, you could try a place called a "shop". I've heard that a lot of people go inside those "shops" and buy something. Some people say there are even "shops" in the Internet. Truly miraculous, isn't it?

If you can't find one from a normal American record shop (since you apparently are American), you could always check if you'd find it in ebay or Amazon.

And in case you didn't know, the album's called the Good, the Bad & the Queen.

  • Damon Albarn truly is the God of Music (and apparently a very good cook too!)

  • Hah, just found a mail I send to my sister five months ago with a link to this vid. It said "Did you ever sat there and thought to yourself: "F**k. I want to see Damon Albarn in a suit cooking a meal for five to six people!"

    Yes?

    WELL HERE YOU GO!!"

    XD

I love that video!! And the song, too, of course. :3

  • @akaspirin ha ha so good story! personally few months ago i was wishing sooo much i was invited for dinner at Mr Albarn's house... just while i was eating eggs, almost alone... must be fantastic to see him cooking, do agree, completely! xD

  • The're all great musicians, but Paul Simonon is a LEGEND...

  • if i watched this before every breakfast, i'd cream my wheat.

  • As much as I am a Gorillaz fan, c'mon. The Verve, The Clash... how can you forget the rest of the band? :P

  • @Leafdapple Gorillaz??? How you forget BLUR lol

  • @citeriorcf As big as Blur is in Europe, Gorillaz are known better internationally (especially in the States).

  • I love this song.

  • this song sounds better with bass love it

  • has someone noticed that this is a band and not only Damon Albarn?? I mean, he's great, but there's a band with him. BTW, great song

  • @MrJoeStrummer96 including the mighty Tony Allen!

  • This guy is amazing if u still want him around replay his gorillaz videos

  • Comment removed

  • sounds like the gorillaz

  • @aicsitmlipp thats because the lead singer is the guy from gorillaz

  • Sir Allen is waiting !

  • @highschoolmusical841 i know its dissapointing

  • i love this but...who wears a suit while cooking lol

  • This is funny seeming as Damon's such a staunch Vegetarian. I can't stop listening to this album though. It's top!

  • too british, dont be silly they are british you mug.

  • This is too British for its own good.

  • We’ll let it blow away, yeah....

  • I LOVE EVERYTHING by Damon Albarn

  • I'd like to have lunch with them!!

  • @giaggino Not breakfast? :P

  • I hope they get back to this soon. I haven't found a song by these guys that I didn't completely love. Hope to see a few of them on the Gorillaz Plastic Beach tour.

  • I like this song :)

  • interesting music! also got hungry watching the video

  • Damon Albarn is the singer / composer i've ever seen! Please keep doing great music!

  • So british

  • I want Damon to cook for me... naked!!

  • @ShaughnPatricia get in line

  • @ShaughnPatricia I love this comment, it really made me laugh..... and i want that too

  • Jason Statham looks like Paul, or at least is what I think.

  • today's music is equal to unfinished/uninspired songs....

  • I wish Paul Simonon would make me breakfast :(

  • british food is gross

  • @mustardtechnicians insensitive prick

  • @mustardtechnicians I bet you've not had much British food then eh? All you eat is pizza and burgers?

  • Rainy day Breakfast..........Ch'yeah !

  • giorgio locatelli!!!!!!!

  • This is so much better than anything off plastic beach....

  • I'm glad they didnt become popular. If they would have stayed together then damon wouldnt have started the gorillaz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @YROCKLINGER the gorillaz were founded before them, damon even stopped the recording session for tht good.... to end the second gorillaz album

  • @YROCKLINGER i remember this. I nw I actually wish they did become popular, the music is amazing

  • @YROCKLINGER theres no sexs or drugs or abuse of any kind! why would this be popular?

  • LOVE IT!

  • this is like one of those perfect combinations of musicians. i love it :) damon albarn for life!!!

  • yeah damon albarn is awesome

  • This song reminds me of Twilight Princess. xD

  • Argh, I can't stop picturing 2-D singing this.

  • well it is 2-D lol

  • it kinda is 2-D

  • @Joeyg143 dude it is 2-D

  • @Joeyg143 2D really sings in these song (look on wikipedia)

  • @yoXmomXx You do know that 2D IS Damon Albarn right?

  • if they became popular they would be heard just as gaga does

    only it would be cool

but it could start to get monotone

but they make good music, wich is better than singing about having drunk sex

  • this cd is amazingly fluid, you just flow from each song to the next and then realize you just listened to the whole damn cd.

  • I love they didn't become popular, actually. Is just that, you know, this kind of music, I love it, but the people know wants exciting videos, with funny lyrics... and no purpose at all. I love Damon and the guys make their own kind of video, their own kind of music, because that shows they didn't want to become popular, they wanted to make good, excellent, music... mission acomplished :)

  • @xwexarexbulletsx I understand that. Amazing lyrics

  • vewy down to earth visuals boys xxx

  • marito!!!baja a desayunar!!

  • Tony Allen dont look to excited about that fry up !

  • I LOVE DAMON!!!

  • son geniales!!!

  • this band had a great members can't believe they did not become that popular

  • @hispaniccheese Well most bands today r amazing but they dnt fit the "public" image, thy wnt crap like the Jonas bros, and Lady Gaga, nobody cares on how good ur music is, as long as the song is mix with sex and drugs, and the ppl cnt ply instruments, it'll be the top song

  • @hispaniccheese It was criminal that they didn't get huge. Such a genius band!

  • @hispaniccheese The plural of a is some.

  • @hispaniccheese I think they don´t need to.People who want them-found them :) that´s the whole spirit!

  • @anju23maaka ah men

  • i thought albarn was vegetarian...

  • he is I heard in the video they a vegan sausage or whatever.

  • quello ke amo di loro è ke il loro genere è un misto tra Beatles e Rollin' Stones

  • i knew i recognized his voice from the Blur but i totally didnt think of gorillaz

  • Lol i like how all the white people in the band are shown doing something, and the black guy is just sitting down waiting for the meal.

  • In fact, if you watch carefully you'll realise that Simonon does nothing actually, just twating about the kitchen!XD

  • i was born on the 80's

So i had the opportinity to listen to Blur, on their early days, but also i could listen to The Clash on the late days.

they were just 2 of my favorite bands!! and watching the ex-Blur, Damon Albarn, and the ex- Clash, Paul Simonon together on this amazing project is just soooo cool!!!

  • i would have given almost anything to be born in the eighties. i hate todays stupidity and music preferences the nineties were so awesome. and people were nicer than they are now. you know? and i agree with you the clash and blur are amazing

  • wonderful!damon albarn

  • Lackluster. Pretentious.

Just like everything this sticky douche nozzle touches.

  • I'm pretty sure that the one who uses the words "lackluster" and "pretentious" to describe his distaste for something, he's the sticky douche nozzle.

  • cynical you are. enjoy that fortune cookie. please don't choke.

  • Nice to see ex-The Clash Paul S. This album is just GREAT...usually a listen it just alone...I am not English but I think 95% of the music I have is from England...this people borned with the music inside their blood.

  • @richardxs I can't deny, The english beat America any day of the week. Sad. I wish we would come up with half of what england has.

  • @HRhuffnstuffe the weirdest thing about songs like this, is that they are popular in the UK. Whereas the only popular music in the US is lady gaga and beyonce, the pop divas. it's mind blowing how their popular music scene is unheard of here in the US.

  • @bufandablanco I hate music like that. Idon't know why people love to hear the same repetitive sounds everyday instead of lyrical catchy tunes.

  • @bufandablanco I guess being a talented musician who makes music with a deep meaning & catchy lyrics don't get you famous anymore .

  • @bufandablanco

Lada Gaga and beyonce is popular in the UK too, the charts are at its worst now. Usa has great bands , Kings of Leon, The Strokes, White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

  • @lomo82 the UK has dominated almost every decade before the 00's. Now all you guys have (that i know of) is radiohead (better than 90% of bands EVER), coldplay (sucks), muse, arctic monkeys (the strokes rip-off, but they still have some catchy songs), franz ferdinand, and gorillaz

  • @zoomburger412 Luckily we have The LIbertines again now as well ;) British music will ALWAYS be better than american music.

Arctic Monkeys are not a strokes rip off, listen to their new album. NOTHING like the strokes.

Also we have Frank Turner, Jamie T, Mumford and Sons, Bloc Party, The King Blues. Can't think of any more of the top of my head.

Not to mention some 90s and 80's acts like Blur and Suede (back again XD), Morrissey, and Jarvis Cocker (sadly no Pulp reform =[ )

  • @joeisaflyingfish

You worry too much about 'where it's from' and 'if it's a ripoff' and 'whether this is better than that'. There are no borders in music. There are no requirements, critical or otherwise. I think there's only one question: do you like the music you hear, or not? Are you going to listen to it, or not? The rest is rubbish that only serves to make you feel good by stating your opinion. It's about your enjoyment. Not how-much-this-is-better-than-that. Nobody cares.

  • @joeisaflyingfish oh please don't put libertines and monkeys in the same position as suede blur pulp and smiths, they are really far away from those divine bands...libertines and monkeys are not authentic and not that creative and charismatic,no way

  • @placebo150 Depends on your generation mate. I'm 17 so I grew up with those bands, so I see them as every bit as influential and iconic as some of the others i mentioned.

  • @joeisaflyingfish i am 16 and i grew up with blur and suede cause libertines are nothing compared to them

  • @placebo150 Are you going to see Suede at the o2 in december? It's gonna be great =D

And sorry, but you're part of a minority.

  • @joeisaflyingfish i wish i could but i live in greece unfortunately...I'm sure it's gonna be great although it would be better with bernard,he's a fucking music god, like albarn you know.If i am really part of a minority it's sad...how can you compare libertines to suede for example?it's just impossible...Face the truth, suede are more creative, more talented, original, with passion, libertines make more sound about their drug addiction than their music

  • @placebo150 Yeees, because Suede's career wasn't sent spinning into disaster beacause of Brett Anderson's gargantuan drug problem. Not at all (sarcasm, by the way). And be fair, Richard Oakes is just as talented as Butler.

The Libertines ended because of drugs, but so have so many other bands. And you seem to be very into 90s music, so its unsurprising that you don't like them, because they took most of there influences from the late 60s and 70s.

  • @joeisaflyingfish i don't like them for the reasons i told you.Anyway, oakes is really good indeed, but just not as good as bernard.Butler gave suede magic, they weren't the same after bernie left, and their style was different I love suede and dog man star much more than coming up or head music...Btw happy birthday to bernard:D

  • @HRhuffnstuffe Maybe its because we have more of a sense of independence in Europe (I'm taking the whole of the continent, otherwise what I say makes no sense as I'm not from England (sadly)). A lot of people actually do their best to stand out from the big masses. From America I always get the sense that people are one big crowd who want to be similar - also in their music. The US charts usually give me a heartattack (sorry), but there's people like you out there to even the scores a bit ;)

  • @xxAlchemistressxx Sorta what its like. Its that England has a deeper heritage than America. Notice how there is no real American cuisine? Same with music. The lyrics are crap and all of it is just techno with some lyrics about sex. We did create jazz and hip hop, but England has always pushed the envelope farther.

  • @HRhuffnstuffe america def has culture. name a place like new orleans, authors like faulkner or hunter s thompson and the beats, filmmakers like tarantino and scorcese, actors like depp, deniro or hopper, or imagine artists like johnny cash, waits, lou reed, howlin wolf, john lee hooker etc. coming out of anywhere else. i love brit pop and british music but let's not pretend america hasn't contributed anything to music, art and literature.

  • @evgad87 not what i'm saying. It's been a while since I've looked at that comment, but I meant as in regards to pop and modern rock music. The names of today are not as good as the music that is pumped out Europe. And country is our from of follk music. If America wasn't founded, more folk musi would just come out of Europe. You hav eto admit.

  • @richardxs I live in USA and I can't stand the shit being stewed over here. The arrogance and delusion makes Americans believe they are the best at everything. Viva La Good, Bad Queen; Oasis; Verve; Radiohead, Kasabian, Muse, Gorrillaz,etc..

  • @richardxs True

  • @richardxs This story seems familiar

  • Reminds me of The Smiths

  • some of the background-sounds sound just like the ones in how soon is now. : )

  • oh, damon (:

  • this song is amazing along with the band. this song touches me in a way msot songs dont
