I had cosmetic surgery done on my eyelids. Before, only one of my eyes had a fold and the other didn't. I hated how my right eye drooped lower than the left, was ugly, and because I didn't want people to see it, I put on globs of eyeliner. After going through with the surgery, I wear a lot less make up, can play with different colors, and I feel more confident when someone looks at my eyes. I've never felt so good about my eyes.
everyone has perfect imperfections :) just keep being who you are and love yourself,then other people will love you for who you are,not for someone you aren't.

I just wanna say god created us not to feel insecure of ourselves to love and enjoy life but mistakes are made. I for one experienced the same thing (although I'm still small) my dad and mom and all my aunts and uncles would try to convince me to get a nose job but I liked the way I looked. I don't care what they think about me. God created me and who I am is who I am.!!
I feel very insecure about my nose as well. I think I'm lucky in most areas but my nose just dominates my face. It isn't that bad, but it still could be so much better. I don't think I'd ever be able to go through with surgery, though. I'm too afraid.

I've had cosmetic surgery on my nose. Before, my nose was big like BIG. And being called names since I was 5 took a toll on my confidence as I grew. When I was 14 I asked my parents about it cause I had been considering it since I was 12. I don't regret it at all. I thought it through for a long time and went through with it. I'm not encouraging surgery, but if you really want it, make sure it's something YOU want. Don't let anyone else decide this. You're still beautiful either way :)

I know most people frown upon plastic surgery, but it's a choice I made on my own when I was fourteen. If it's something you really want, discuss it with your parents. Do your research on the best plastic surgeons in your area and make sure it's something YOU want. How old are you, if you don't mind me asking?

@mitsuki902 Yes, I was 14 when I got my surgery. I had no problems going through with it since I had been thinking about surgery since I was 12. The surgery itself went good and nothing bad happened. The recovery process depends on how much pain the person can take and how fast they heal.

@MHgothicKpoplover Depending on how fast you heal and how much pain you can take, the recovery process can take about 2-3 weeks. No extreme heat or ice. Don't go overboard with the pain pills. I suggest getting surgery done in the summer when there's no school. I think I'll make a video response or something to answer questions since a lot of people have been asking me about it. About the topic I must say that it is important that we are honest with our ourselves about the reasons why we choose to have plastic surgery. I personally don't find anything wrong with it, since it was developed for the benefit of humanity. What is wrong is when we have unresolved self esteem issues and we try to fix them with surgery. The ideal plastic surgery patient is trying to solve a REAL problem and is emotionally stable.

Just a couple weeks ago during one of our family gatherings, they actually surrounded me and commented on what I looked like. First off, hi, I love your videos! I think you're really cool! About the topic I must say that it is important that we are honest with our ourselves about the reasons why we choose to have plastic surgery. I personally don't find anything wrong with it, since it was developed for the benefit of humanity. What is wrong is when we have unresolved self esteem issues and we try to fix them with surgery. The ideal plastic surgery patient is trying to solve a REAL problem and is emotionally stable.

Just a couple weeks ago during one of our family gatherings, they actually surrounded me and commented on what I looked like. Saying my teeth are too big, my face has a nice shape, my nose is too round, and stuff like that. I don't get how they could be so insensitive, they did that when I was younger too and I almost cried back then. :/

@xleishix You shouldn't get plastic surgery. Asians are always so obsessed about their eyes trying to look white and it's just annoying. I respect those that don't give into that. It's rediculous really. Just be yourself. Asians are so pretty. Why is it that when a white girl has monolids it's amazing but when an Asian has then we dislike it?

@aznwhoenjoycomedy Changing the appearance you are born with isn't "minding appearance". It's changing what God (or whatever creator you want to believe in) gave you. "Minding appearance" is makeup, fashion, etc. Getting ahead in life shouldn't be the reason you have plastic surgery.

Funny how I found this video today, a couple hours ago I made the decision to get plastic surgery done sometime down the road. Now I'm not so sure I want to anymore, so thankyou. And by the way, before you even mentioned that you think your nose is a flaw I thought to myself, 'okay she must have had a nosejob done because her nose looks perfect'.
