@007Metroid my dear old thing, i can sympathise with some of your opinions, but in the nicest possible way, you are wrong about Jenson. He is by no means a mid range driver, this year he has consistently outserformed Hamilton, why? well thats down to personal opinion, but you do not win a world championship by accident, even with the best car.
@007Metroid yes 11 years but tell me a car he has had that can even win a race , never mind a champiship , lewis been in the sport 4-5 years but stepped into a champinship winning mclearn in his first year , you think jenson was gonna win in that williams ? the points dont lie , he hammered lewis in his brawn , 2010 he finished 22 points behind lewis in a car built for lewis and 2011 jenson is making lewis look like a rookie , as for tyres jenson famous for looking after his tyres.
@007Metroid i agree that lewis is faster over 1 lap but look wot it does to his tyres , he might go half a second a lap faster but once tyres are gone and he on his inlap he losses all that time gained to jenson , jenson might be a tad slower but has excelent consistency over the whole race
Lewis is a better racer but Button is a faster driver. the difference is that lewis likes to be agressive and overtake easrly and get those places. Button wants to chill, take his time and be easy on his tyres so he can pump hard near the end when the others start to slow with crappy tyres. Todays race in Spa proven that they both could do wonders as racers.
@coolL9457 other way round really Button is probably the better racer at the moment he thinks about the whole race and manages his tires well and is consistent through the whole race. Lewis is the best naturally gifted driver and is probably the fastest in F1 today
@LukeSleaa yeah. over the month iv'e posted that comment Hamilton is really going down the crapper. he needs to stay in the race till the end if he's to get a championship. seems like button is now doing the work for mclaren...
@coolL9457 yeah don't get me wrong personally i'm more of a Hamilton fan but he's lost focus and Button is on great form either way they make for a good team :)
@2009MRTT Jenson Button is one of the worlds greatest drivers, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to secure the world championship, idiot. I hardly think you're in a position to comment.

And Lewis faster throughout the 2010 season.
...maybe time for a change of career to driving a milk float - Thats where being smooth helps....not on a race track.
Thinking about it...I heard that Hollywood are thinking of making a sequel to 'Driving Miss Daisy'. Jenson should audition for the role of the driver.
