  • dis guy succkss!

  • Yeah wash your limes but rub your snotty nose with the hand you are holding them with! Dip shit

  • Important to have the cutting board on a bar towel. Good technique

  • obviously guys you didnt wash your fruits, all of them had stickers.

    Good vid, good explination.

You need to sharp your knirfe avoiding many strokes. The strokes more likley to cut your finger.

  • @cabopulmo no doubt. This guy is gonna cut himself with that knife! ... and I will never cut fruit with such a huge knife. I wasted my hand once with a huge knife like that and never again!

  • Cheesy or not, I love when there's a fruit circle on the edge of my drink. It's cute c:

  • i dont get why there is so many dislikes...? Sure, its maby not perfect but its good enough!

  • is it for dummbs? :) well..... video is ok...

  • 5:04 nice stutter

  • Seriously, what a waste of fruit!

  • @burgrqueen what a waste of a comment

  • 40 limes a night for a high volume bar? i dont think you know what high volume is.

  • You should add how to cut twists. AFter tending bar for over 30 years I have yet to see a bartender who knows what I consider to be THE BEST way to cut twists. Visit my channel - /cheersbutlers - and I will show you what I am referring to...

  • This guy isn't that bad. But I like Eben Freeman a LOT better. That man makes artwork.

  • @rlgreene100 isn't bad?? are you kidding? and he shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as eben. eben is a legend. this fucker's a joke.

  • and thats how you cut lemons.

  • and that how you cut lemons.

  • where is the originality here? even I (!) can do that O_o

  • gosh, he is rather messy... wastes material, doesn't remove stickers?! if anyone serves me a glass with a sticker on the citrus I'll never return there. and, wow, lime or orange with a beer? gotta try that ;)

  • dude, his knife is really dull

  • you are suck

  • rofl 0:25 *wipes nose and gropes fruit*

  • i dont kno about you guys but i'd definitely suck his dick

  • Omg! He's Wasting Food!!

  • 3 02 MINUTES...HE DID NOT REMOVE THE STICKER ON THE LIME AND LOL!ANYWAYS I LOVED THE VIDEO...

  • I like how he just throws them away

  • 1:14 yay! big!

  • fuck..have you ever heard lime squeezer??

  • Ikea Glass !

  • As*hole bastard, waste of Lime!! o0o

  • Thanks man! Bonus points for the ladies!

  • como gasta limones este tipo pufffffffffffffffffffffff !

  • when i do wedges for garnishing i never cut teh ends off. It makes the shape of the lime really chunky and unattractive like you get from a pub where they dont really give a damn how it looks. But hey, Bartending isnt an exact science so whatever floats your boat.

  • estos garnish son un fiasco... eso lo hace mi mamá para decorar la ensalada de fruta... dejate de joder---

  • I thought the video was great and helpful for those of us who need the basics of cutting fruit for drinks. It's obvious to me the target audience would be home bartenders or someone just starting out. Regarding the negative comments - not sure why you pros would even watch the video.

  • I'm a bartender. This is the way we cut them. Give the guy a break. Geez!

  • He may not be experienced, but he _did_ take the time to post a video. For those who are more experienced - Either post a video response or STFU...

  • yeah big

  • Jeeezzz, what happens in prt 2???

The idiot cuts of his fingertips....

    HAHHAAAA

  • @Ibivizi i love how he says oranges go in a lot of wheat beers, and then he says blue moon as well. pretty sure blue moon is a belgian wheat

  • bunch of bitter beans...

people, your attitude makes your drink also!!

  • Folks take a chill pill. I understand the whole takingprideinyourcraftmess bt this video helps A-lot for those of us just starting out bartending. I just made $500 on my first night at a private event thanks to this vid.

& for all y'all complaining about the stickers, 1, they are edible (check the FDA website for that) & 2, this is for demonstration purposes only & as you can see, he mentions to take off the sticker AND he stops cutting right before the sticker

Jim or Josh, merci pour le film!

  • this guy has obviously had very little bar training or experience.....he's an idiot. Why is it necessary to chop the ends off everything? And why would you leave the sticker on, seriously...

  • you ALWAYS chop the ends off. Any bartender will tell you this.

  • menudo payason!

  • wtf is he doing...

  • this guy is gona cut his fingers when he wil be on a hurry

  • Get a sharper knife please

  • man!are u a real bartender? u don't seem so...

  • sorry but this guy comes across as a bit of a tool. as pointed out earlier he left the stickers on the fruit. I don't care where your serving that's bad. Another point is why would you cut slots into the lemon wheels after slicing the whole fruit. do it all at once and save more money and time then you ever will cutting limes into quarters.

  • How could he use that lime for a high end cocktail bar when the retard leaves the stickers on all his fruit

  • bartending shouldn't be about how to work economically, it should be about beauty and taste, about aesthetics ;) mix your drinks perfectly and your customers will pay the 2 cents for the full orange slice for sure! ;)

  • @Quy not if youre serving 100 people that just take beers and shots and youre working at a 2m long bar with 1 other girl

  • i love how he talks about being economical (by not using full wheels), and yet he could have made this video using two lemons and saying "you can use these methods with limes and oranges".

  • i totally agree! he did the same thing with the lime, the orange AND the lemon!

  • hahaha...

non hai levato neanche l'etichette alla frutta!?!

    hahahahah...ciao

  • Comment removed

  • wtf? those lime garnishes are no good. better to use a lime wheel. Also why cut bits off both ends before you cut the good bits, leave one end on so you have more to hold on to when cutting.

  • thanks for the video !

anyone who is wants to know more about bartending can also check out the book "Bartending for Dummies". it teaches how stock a bar, mix exotic specialties and hot toddies, experiment with new flavored rums, vodkas, and cordials, garnish and serve drinks like a master mixologist and cure hangovers and hiccups
