with game nowadays is it really worth switching to claw? i know back inthe day it would've made a bigger difference when games like halo 2 were out. but i recently switched to claw....and my accuracy literally has reset to zero. pretty much feels like i just started playing again compared to 10 years ago.

the only game i can think of claw making an actual difference is gears of war because of "wall bouncing".

I thought I was the only one. I just started using this form back with my PS2. Now I have a 360. I don't really pay attention to my hands while I'm playing and was surprised when it just felt right to me to press the trigger with the middle finger. I didn't know it was called anything until today. I just told my friends that I don't hold it normally and I kind of hold it weird. I tried playing normally with the index on the trigger and I can't do it. It feels weird to me.

@mottor86 i play like this naturally. I dont always have my hand in a claw position. I rarely use my index finger to jump, but i always use it to press Y,B, or X. With this, you can change weapons while turning a corner, reload, dolphin dive, etc... Sometimes, i would drop-shot, and 180 at the same time(without tactical on), and it would save my life. Personaly, i think its a really useful technique

if those buttons were on the back then then this wouldn't be a problem considering all the free fingers holding the controller.

nintendo was starting it right with the Z trigger on the n64 even though its just one button.

The thumb press layout was good for the NES and snes.. but with dual analog it really screws up the lay out making it harder to use the standard buttons while using dual analog.
