A Hackintosh is a better, and a lot cheaper way of gaining a Macintosh - In a few years everyone will be doing it

Vuze isn't actually a good program. It is way to heavy, which is undesirable when you haven't got it plugged in. Use Bittorrent or uTorrent instead.

@ZeppelinSamurai in the metadata of the audio file. he's telling you the truth too. when you buy software you buy legal license to USE that software. technically you don't buy the software but the license. if you do not legally own a license anything you make with pirated software actually belongs to the company who's software you stole. so you have to be careful. they can figure it out and they can force you to a) buy the program b) pay royalties c) sue the crap out of you

acctually the wireless card is an issue i had to deal with when selling my hackintosh.... the guy wanted it to work so he ordered the one that will work with mac.... and it is completely plug and play once you install it

alright dude id love to explain it to you in text... but i do infact have a video tutorial and in that tutorial i go through what software you will need so id highly reccommend you watch that video as it will aid you greatly compared to me trying to remember what i said in the video which was OBVIOUSLY scripted and practised LOL

when you say how does it run im assuming you are referring to speed LOL but as far as speed goes, it is Pretty fast! even with other stuff open like MSN, Safari, iTunes etc FCP still runs with decent speed but ive found that as long as i convert all my footage to DV then i dont spend 90% of the time rendering stuff

Final Cut Pro isnt really that Demanding... and i have 1 GB of RAM and id Hate to sound like a Noob but im afraid im Not entirely sure what the diff is between RAM and VRAM (im assuming that it is Virtual RAM) CPU speed is 1.6Ghz if you look back at the powerbook G4 it only had 512MB of RAM and a 1.0Ghz Processor so the specs on my netbook GREATLY exceed those of a book that was around $1900 at its time of glory so final cut, Logic Pro and even some games such as Age of empires 3 run seamlessly

it was apple in the background trying to push the concept of recording audio and midi on macs. They kept doing this until it fell apart and everone was doing it on PC. Now theire big thing is video. all this aside if you look at the required specs for a mac to efficiently edit video my netbook mac, was a 1.6 GHZ with 1 gb of ram and a 64mb graphics card and it did a great job of final cut pro, now i am on a 2.26GHZ core2duo with 2 gb of ram and a 256mb graphics card. Now im FLYING meanwhile you need to go insane and get a 4.0GHz pc with 8 gb of ram and a 1.5GB graphics card (im assuming) in order to get the same performance.

you still probably have a rockin studio with that budget XD

Well since those do not have disk drives I am assuming that you had to make a bootable external hard drive to use iATKOS, Kalyway, or iPC because those are huge files and only fit on DVDs. So you somehow mounted the ISO on a big flash drive or external hard drive so I give u credit for that. and are u dual booting or did u wipe windows?
