Need about a 400w power supply to run this baby its dated but its a very cool card and overclocks like a 7800 gt :D u can get 1 today for about 80-120 $ good budget card.but today i would recommend getting an ati 4850(79-120$) or a 5770 (150$) both require a 500w psu u can get a case for 50 $ that come with 500w psus today

@Adredinna lol use the 2 x white Molex 4-pin to convert to 6-pin PCI-e man. I guess it is included with the video card (@ 3:15). Absolutely ridiculous upgrade. Because if I'm not wrong, GT 240 is pretty good and its comparable to the 9600GT and 9800GT. Well try my advice and pm me soon, good luck and have fun with your gaming man. :D

Yes you can Xorplon. I am a manager at a computer shop- I work on computers and laptops all day. Trust me i know my technology. Not to mention, i have that setup in my system. I have an EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked Overclocked to 700mhz core/ 1800mhz shaders/ 2.2Ghz memory (which makes it faster than a single 8800GTX at stock clocks) and i paired my 8800GT to an EVGA 9800GT SuperClocked and OC'D it to the same frequencies. It works beautifully. The 9800GT/8800GT are the same cards with a die shrink.

open your case and look at the powersuply unit (it should be a large cube) check the wires coming from it and if you see a very small black cube with 6 little conections then that should be the one

I would get a corsair 600w power supply, that will be more than enough for this card. The corsair is also modular that helps. I am running a 8800GT on about 580w no problem.

no point of upgradeing 20 wats the recomend psu for this card is 450 watts. it also depends on the company who makes there psu and how they rate them like have a dell xps 420 with same card and with a dell 375 watt psu and it runs fine but dell rates there psu's differntly so its really like a 500 watt.
