The clouds and mist are very good, they are normally the most trouble. The mountains seem to have more detail in the distance than up close. I think you need to adjust the depth of field so everything is not at the same focal length.
Still it's very good. Way better than I am doing in 3D at this point.
regarding the textures you could try more variation in the diffuse (while trying to avoid obvious tiling pattens) or you could try snow capped mountains, perhaps with a higher spec value for the snow. that should contrast well with the darkish rocks you have there.
as for the camera flight, I would recommend trying two paths, one with the camera targeting an empty on the 2nd path, the result can be more akin to a helicopter flight with with the turning and varying speeds, as opposed to a more straight forward jet looking camera path.
@rattyredemption Okay thanks so much for the advice. Sad thing is though is that this is not an earth based mountain range its on a different planet... Maybe I should have explained that :/... But I will definitely take the advice on the fly by thing :) I have updated some of the modeling of the scene itself and seeing how it looks now and if it looks good I will enlarge the scene and do the fly by.
@tbow001 understood and cool. also you could still try some variation in the diffuse rock textures, maybe use vertex painting on the model to blend different textures/materials. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this work of yours.
@DerangedGames Yeah I might work on the textures some. Its just temporary for now. Thanks for the comment though.. How could I texture this to make it better?

very nice, i think the texture needs working on abit, and the Camera Fly over would be good!
Other than that, amazing job!

@DerangedGames Hey you should go check out the completed version I just posted :D

cool but would be even better if you did a camera flight over it.
