Among other things, Comey's testimony sheds light on Andrew Card's attempts to maintain his (and Bush's) public persona on talk shows like Hardball and even Jon Stewart's Daily Show. As you say, he is the ultimate "tool."

Comey is a great guy. He's talking about warrantless wiretapping here. Andy Card is a tool lest anyone forget. He headed the White House Iraq war PR spin team whose members include Karl Rove, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Condoleezza Rice, Karen Hughes and Mary Matalin before he turned against the war and Rumsfeld.
