Love Jarre's music the more I listen. Love the original, though to be honest, I think I can go so far as to say the sound quality here rivals the original. Great job. Great music. What is everyone's favorite Jarre track? For me it is a toss-up between Moscow live Souvenir de Chine, Aero version of Equinoxe 4, Destination Docklands version of Rendez-vous II; Chronologie and Zollookologie (why not :] )
Nice! You own a d50 I guess...? I did a version of this too, will probably upload it in the near future, but the sounds are not as good as this. By the way, I don't know if you noticed it, but the effect at the end of this tune if nothing more then the same machine run that's the main rhythm, but now only the lower octave and then with a pitch down of an octave during the playing of the sound. So, maybe now you can also play the ending of this piece? ;-)
@rojman123 I have listen it very precise for few days and now for few minutes and I swear: bass (You mean this short picked-guitar-like notes played in octave?) is playing only G# :). Only strings are playing the normal bass notes G#, F# and C#. Realy :)
@rojman123 Machine run consist of two notes with a D50 loop played as octave. This loop cosists of some metalic percusiv sounds like cowbell, hihat and last sound in this loop is this single bass sound. It is integral part of loop.
Machine Run Loop contains except percusion sounds two short melodic bass notes. It is G# in two octaves. Overture is in G# minor and this short and almost invisible two melodic notes in the loop doesn't disturb the normal bass line : G#, F#, C#
this is probly my fav piece of music from jarre

@Dubwise4u Great! :). I have no D50. I tried to reproduce strings and gritarrr sound but I am not really happy with my result. :/

I tried to play this piece too. I still have to work on the solo though, and I haven't even attempted to do the drums. Very good work.

Hey nice work mate! Where did you get the percussion from at the intro, sampled from the original track?
WezBolton 2 years ago
Exakly. But I have the original sample-loop from D50 to. This loop must be played in 2 octaves.
