I have heard people link Hitler with Darwin to discredit evolution. They take a few quotes of Darwin's out of context and say that he gave Hitler a moral justification for his actions. Evolution by natural selection is a scientific fact (the term Theory in science is different than in philosophy, think Newton's theory of gravity). Even if Darwin had some misguided racist ideas, which were not unusual for Victorian times, it doesn't invalidate Evolution.

Egypt is the most powerful Arab country and was the most terrible enemy of Israel in the wars of 1948, 1967 and 1973. Egypt recognized the State of Israel and made peace in 1979. So did Jordan in 1994. Both countries got back its occupied territories during the Six Day War of 1967.

Palestine was not a sovereign country when Israel was established as Arab propaganda says. Until 1948 was a British colony and for 400 years before it was a forgotten province of the Turkish Empire. In 1947 the UN decided on the "Partition" of the English colony in two states. Israel accepted the resolution. The Palestinians and Arab countries refused to establish their state and declared war on Israel in 1948, 1967 and 1973 to push the Jews into the sea but they were defeated.

Nobody is claiming Palestine was a sovereign state before 1917. Of course, it was a territory of the Ottoman Empire like most of the Arab world.
That isn't an argument against the self-determination of Palestinian Arabs. If that is the Zionist argument, then surely they see no legitimacy in the sovereignty of Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, etc.
Surely they see no legitimacy in all the states of Africa & S.America who were once European territories.

Thousands of Jewish survivors were expelled and forced to flee their homes.
