That's the same PTV and handset that Thai uses. Just that Thai's Premium Economy seats are an inch wider and have four inches more legroom. And the tray table is easier to get to because it's in your armrest instead of the seat in front of you. And (in my opinion) the seat colors are prettier. But JAL is still cool.
I am 180 cm tall and can comfortably pack my legs in Premium economy. However, if you are talking about only the leg space, I have better suggestion for you. You can choose row 23 for flight #JL1 or 2. This is the 1st row of normal economy seats and you can have huge leg space (more spacious than P-economy!).
I normally sit there and got the same seat today from SFO (Jan.20,2011).
Well, you can upgrade from normal economy to P-economy for $300/way if you have extra money with you...
