  • My replay button has been left sobbing in a corner wanting a shower and the police

  • I love this song.

  • An I'm lookin out my winda, bab-ya...

  • Hey Legacied., I used this video to make a Spanish subtitled version of the song. You can check in my channel. Thx.

  • Great pics! When Rock was King. Mick or Keith, Id fucked them both in the seventies and gavem a nice reach around thats for sure.

  • I love this song and love the Stones. Gee, I love them.

  • Unbelievable that this song was left off and this Exile lineup with Taylor was just magic

  • 9 people's arses got plundered

  • @B1GR4BB asses sir

  • @Riocoolnes its arses in Scotland... sir or madame ;-)

  • @B1GR4BB this is america sir so its asses :) maybe on a scotish website it is arses :)

  • @Riocoolnes hahahaha you got to be american to claim the internet for your country

  • @Riocoolnes

Ha ha ha .....You can go kiss my pale Scottish arse Sir or Madame ;-)

  • best band in the world!

  • I love this song SOOOO much

  • This is What Legends are made of long live the - ROLLING STONES !!

  • All the so called "new bands" respect the Best band this little Island has ever ever created - never to be replicated - kiss there ass!! ha ha lol.

  • One of the top ten song by the stones, and i got about 900songs by stones, both bootlegs, live, compilations and official albums.

yeah they are the greatest..not just rock n roll band, but the GREATEST BAND EVER.

  • Discovered this just a couple of weeks ago & it was honestly better than most christmas's i had as a child.

  • Top choon !!!!

  • They should sack Ron Wood and get Mick Taylor back on the road with them. I'd pay good money to see that.

  • "slight" difference in the mix? Its a radical difference and this is the better one by far. What a shame they put the inferior one on the Exile package.

  • this is one of many rolling stones songs that are great

  • thanks ... love this video

  • NOT

  • Shut the fuck up about the dislikes, If 9 people want to dislike it than more power to them i can give a fuck. All that matters is I like the song right? If they want to not like it then hey in my opinion they are missing out but thats just my opinion. Learn to ignore people that anger you i find that a lot easier lol

  • @fable2war You meet some pricks on this, but you my friend aint one!!!!!! Nicely put.

  • @fable2war yeah, people can be pretty youtube childish sometimes

  • "My indiscretions made a bad impression/Guess I was misunderstood"

    Class fucking lyrics right there.

  • So where can one get this version then? What a shame its not the one on the cd..its clearly better (due specifically to Taylor being higher in the mix ). One can only speculate why it wasn't chosen for the cd.

  • Has anyone noticed the slight differences in the mix?

  • @stevenjromero Yep. This one has more Taylor and he's higher in the mix. The cd version has less of his playing and he's more buried. Needless to say i prefer this version. Great tune either way though.

  • Successor to Tumbling Dice (the song!).

  • awsome song

  • Wow I had heard about this tune but hadn't heard it until now. Great groove and vocals. Mick Taylor after all these years still fits in perfect playing beautifully off Jagger's vocals. Thanks for the magic one more time.

  • 9 dislikes? 9 "fuck yous" from this guy!

  • great song

  • gotta love the stones they threw this song aside and its getting to be one of my favourites

Feels like we,ve been thrown back to when music was great!

  • @TheMrpaulyb It's my absolute favorite now! Wonder what else we haven't heard?

  • GREAT. THE BEST STONES SONG EVER. KEITH RICHARDS WROTE THIS, NO DOUBT.. I SALUTE YOU BRO.

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS . IT IS GREAT. TO ME, THE BEST STONES SONG EVER. GREAT . I SALUTE YOU BROTHER

  • são os melhores não tem para ninguem

    musica linda

stones é isso ai musicas bonitas loucura e imortalidade

    viva as pedras rolantes

para os que não gostão de stones e achão que gostão de rock são uns inuteis

quem naõ gosta de stones não gosta de Rock and roll

se o rock and roll fose ter outro nome se chamaria

    TEH ROLLING STONES

  • Look again...then get offa my cloud!

  • I think it's cool that Mick Taylor was included in the overdubs on this tune. Longstanding Stones fans largely believe that Mick Taylor was an essential part of the Stones when they made much of their greatest music. It's nice to include and recognize him for his fabulous contributions.

  • the stones plundered my soul

  • Beautiful Brian Jones....R&R Angel if there ever was....is! TY!

  • @rubyrose456 what the hell does brian jones have to do with exile on main street.hed been dead 3 years when it was recorded

  • If that's Jagger singing those Richards-style harmonies, he should get a mimicking award. My ears still say it's Richards, but all written evidence points the other way.

  • @Dukegrievousangel yeah, all the vocals on this are new. Keith hasn't been able to hit notes that high since the early 80's. Still amazing though.

  • Legends.

  • Mick Jagger invited Mick Taylor in the studio for adding guitar lines to this song. At least Sir Jagger didn't show no grudge against his former bandmate after he left the band in 1975.

  • There's one thing I don't understand about this song. Maybe someone can help me with this? The backing vocals in the verses sound like Keith Richards to me. I heard there were no lyrics for this song, so it's impossible he sang them back then. I'm pretty sure he can't sing like this anymore, cause his voice changed a lot (I still like his voice don't get me wrong). Also he's not credited for the backing vocals. Does anyone know who's singing then?

  • @acdcrocks991 This song was recorded back when Exile was made but was left off the album for whatever reason. So it probably is Keith singing. The song you're thinking of is "Following The River"

  • @acdcrocks991 it´s mick jagger.Remember when keith was to high to put some backing vocals, jagger did the job.For example on 100 years ago or most of the tattoo you album. Then Richards lost his sweet voice.

  • @laspenasdelfenix Are you sure? Cause in the verses the backing vocals don't sound as Jagger. I know in the chorus it's Mick

  • @acdcrocks991 Yes it´s mick jagger. To prove this check the song, THE LONG BLACK VEIL..(with mick jagger and the chieftains).Jagger did the same

  • @laspenasdelfenix Remember that Jagger also performed the backing vocals for "Start Me Up", probably the most prominent example of his dead-on Keith mimicry.

  • @laspenasdelfenix Well, you're probably right then :D Thank you for the info.

  • they managed to maintain that original rock sound for 50 years! amazing!

  • After Exile the rolling stones should do a deluxe edition of goats head soup putting on the first disc the original album with two bonus tracks "Criss Cross Man" and "Separately" and on the second disc the live album "Brussels Affair 1973" which has a perfect sound because it's a Fm Broadcast. For example U2 did this with "The Joshua Tree" including bonus tracks and the complete "Live In Paris 1987". I hope the stones read my advice it would be amazing

  • The Rolling Stones got 10 consecutive albums that hit the first spot in Us charts from 1968 to 1981 and i bought them all Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile on main Street, Goats head soup, It's only rock 'n roll, Black & Blue, Some Girls Emotional Rescue and Tattoo You plus Hot Rocks 1964-1971 i mean the best music i've ever. I don't like their later albums from undercover to a bigger bang they're not so creative and miss the great Mick Taylor

  • @sciuto01 the great mick taylor is not so great without Keith, Mick, Charlie, and Bill.

    Give me a break....

  • @mkmcc1 That seems true, but Keith, Mick, Charlie and Bill sounded awfully good with Mick Taylor though - Shame they don't record & tour again with a three guitar attack for Richards, Taylor and Wood. Just to state the obvious, as an entity, its centered Jagger/Richards/Watts, but there were a lot of contributions over the years - Billy Preston, Wood, Taylor, Brian Jones, Nicky Hopkins, Wyman, Jimmy Miller, Keys, to name the most prominent that really enriched the legacy.

  • @cicadajet I agree ,it would be great with all three guitar players and Bill ,even just for one tour and one album! Oh well one can dream!

  • @sciuto01 What did mick taylor have to do with beggars banquet?

  • I hear you brother, i also got them all on Lp/vinyl. And It`s a shame that some people today dont appreciate this kind of music anymore. But the stones realy are the best!

  • ah just the best ..

  • They certainly don't make 'em like they used to :(

  • this song is so awesome. i love you mick, keith, charlie, ron. you will go on forever.

  • @MrSatisfied1

Ron apparently were not these update Exile songs !

    Your comments should have included Bill W . & Mick T. !

    Still Love your enthusiaism !

  • THIS SONG HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST THAT MICK AND BOYS EVER CAME UP WITH. WHO AGREES WITH ME?

  • @spardo76 I agree totally. This number is absolutely wonderful. Especially Mick Taylor`s

    overdubs made last year.

  • @spardo76 How could they have kept those tracks back? I have some lousy sounding versions on Outake Boots but never so much as heard of this one....& it's Incredible!

  • @spardo76 well, one of the best

  • @spardo76 i do bro, i do

  • @spardo76 For sure the hey day sound, got it all Bobby, Nicky, all that made them the stones!

  • 40 years on and I'm stilling LOVING the Stones ...... nobody rocks like them. Stones forever !!

  • Le meilleur extrait du second disque d'Exile.

  • Gram

Yes, this IS Mick at 67. The rhythm track is '71. Lyrics, vocals (lead and backing), and Taylor's lead licks are 2010. Impressed yet?

  • Man does TAYLOR stand out on this version!! they need him back soooo bad!!!!

    MLC

  • BUT THIS ISN'T MICK @ 67....WELL EVEN NOW HE;S STILL THE SHIT...

  • Comment removed

  • BUT THIS ISN'T MICK AT 67!!!! BUT HE STILL IS THE SHIT!!!!...PEACE!!..

  • Which version is this - where can I get it? Taylor's guitar sounds much better than in the other clips of PMS on You-tube.

  • @cicadajet Been wondering the same thing myself. It also sounds like the backing vocals come in earlier on this version.

  • As we say here in Portugal...." like the port wine.....if much more older...will be better..." Rolling Stones are the most older band performing in the world...since 1962 I think......almost 50 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....I take my hat out...and I bound whit all respec,t they deserve!!!!!!!!

  • doesnt this song just get to you?

  • why even try.. he is justt too great for me.. what am i thinking.. yeah he steals my heart again and again and again....

  • just awesome! they never sounded better!!!

  • They haven't sounded this good since Exile on Main Street.

  • I walked into a supermarket last night and a song, couldn't hear it properly, was playing, must have been about 02:55 in, and it just caught my attention, the almost awkward beat but esp the pause... let it hang for a bit. I worked it out after a while that it was the Stones (hadn't heard it before) So many groups seem to have an aversion to pauses and what have you, makes a lot of difference though I think.

  • Plundered my soul...

  • amazing foreverrr rolling stones..

    we love you

  • great pictures

  • this is from the original recording of exile. listen to keith singing back up. this is from 72 without a doubt

  • Taylor is incredible!!

  • The only 'original' not back is ' STU' !

ON MY ARM IN THIS 'HEART OF STONE' !

  • This Should have been on exile on main street, it so Awsome!!!!!

  • Hey Charles195th I don't have the new Exhile yet, but I understood they recorded some new songs on there "in the spirit of Exhile" according to Mick on Larry King interveiw. Hoping the wife comes through with new album for my birthday this week.

  • @305bigdad And did the wife come through with the Stones?? Dying to know!

  • @MMRJL She came through with a copy of new exile, but not the super delux box with all the trimmings. She didn't know exactly what to get. will exchange it. thanks for asking!

  • It's a beautiful morning and the ocean spray is on my face and all I hear is music from 1972 ... which as a phenomena in itself had more number one hits than any other year in history. Check it out. 1972 was a VERY good year for music. Everything from KodaChrome {Paul Simon} to "Spill the Wine ~ Take that Girl"...and many many more !!! Seems like literally thousands of hits from 1972 ALONE !!! They were in a vortex with everyone else!Just in a basement in France.

  • What is this crazy story out of north hollywierd...about the Andy Johns bust...which left JIMMY MILLER in Chino Prison for 2 fkg years...lemme see...could've been a set up so they could use the engineer and not pay the producer??? Hmph??? have a balony sandwich! Balony must puke up better than real food. If you work the roadf crew anyway....get used to balony!!! that's what the stones serve!!!

  • Ima just a head case listen to a this just the best music in de world the stone just feckin rock jagger is de business always remember the open air in rio man !

  • totally addicted to it. Go Stones!!

Exile is the best album ever!!

    Cheers

  • copyright claim by Wayne Catalano

  • I always compare every new album to exhile and sticky fingers. I"ve been waitin for them to sound like this again for a long time. excellent

  • @305bigdad News flash .... THE DON'T !!!! These are old tapes!

  • I am a brazilian MD, 57 years old. Exile is the best album ever made. I remenber when I listened it for the first time in 1972.A Real masterpiece!

  • This is better than 98% of what passes for music today on the radio. Mick Jagger rivals Madonna & Cher for the number of clothing changes he has made over the years.

  • No other rock & roll album does more heavy lifting than Exile. Even as a total Beatle lover,I tip my hat to The Stones and proclaim Exile On Main Street the best album ever made. It still totally kicks my 54 year old ass.

  • A MAIOR BANDA DE ROCK DO MUNDO E DE TODOS OS TEMPOS, STONES YEAAARRRRR

  • Comment removed

  • I gonna see them on tour if they ever do it again! 2011-2012 seems like another World Tour & a final album...these guys are by far the best rock band to ever walk on the planet! Of course the Beatles deserve a mention too but the Stones are the longest last...they have a perfect formula for success!

  • what a lost gem!! fantastic song

  • Fuck man the stones still groove like its fucking 69,fuck gaga and long live the stones.

  • My indiscretions made a bad impression

    Guess I was misunderstood

    But you plundered my soul

    (You plundered my soul)

  • As a stones fanatic,ESP a Keith and Anita one I am willing to bet this was penned about her. Jagger was known for always thinking chicks were after his money! I don't think it was about Bianca.Bianca was his attempt at upper class society. Jmo.btw still love all the stones wives and girlfriends!

  • Can't slow these guys down...Keith must chop up Wheaties and blend it with the heroin!

  • Keith must chop up wheatie flakes and blend it in with the heroin!

  • Awesome awesome awsome song thanks so much guys! Your fans young and old love you! New fans discover your hidden gems every day! Now how bout gettin a station on satellite?

  • Exile on Main Street hit the top spot in the UK chart more proof that music nowadays sucks

  • IT'S OFFICAL.

STONES ENTER THE UK CHART AT #1 AND SET THE RECORD BETWEEN FIRST AT LAST #1's at 46 years.

The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World is back on top.

  • @VOODOO1194 YOU BET!!!

  • Yeah..this is the rock for who lived tahta times......yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • stones keep on rocking! #LOL

  • The Stones are at #1 on the U.K. and European record charts with a day of sales to go. They will enter the American charts at #2 and the Global chart at #1...Not bad for a bunch of 70 year olds.

    Keep on Rolling!!!

  • Mick does not let us down.

(Speaking for myself but I am a lifetime lover of these people.)

  • Jesus Christ! Mick is the fcukin man. At 67 he's better than ANYTHING out there now. This is awesome! Time to roll a number.

  • @sammad20 not til the 26th.. don't rush it, now.. happy early birthday, Sir Mick wherever you are~

  • @2commonandcoarse We know where Mick is - he's in South Africa watching World Cup matches - the TV directors love to cut to Mick in the crowd. Good to see.

  • @MMRJL yeah I think I am gonna shapeshift into my hawk form and fly to south africa .... go Holland ! ! ! ! ! caw ! caw ! caw ! ! !

  • @sammad20 LOL!

  • nice song, i just got the video from itunes for FREE somehow! maybe it's a limited offer, but it's a pleasant surprise to see the STONES give anything for FREE

  • But I do miss your quick repartee

    And the smile

    That lights up your face.

You'll be a hard act to follow,

    A bitter pill to swallow,

You'll be tough, you'll be tough to replace

  • But I do miss your quick repartee

    And the smile

    That lights up your face.

You'll be a hard act to follow,

    A bitter pill to swallow,

You'll be tough, you'll be tough to replace

MICK CAN STILL WRITE THE BEST LYRICS!

  • i can't believe that there aren't some songs out there that were never released, that already had lyrics and the vocals added. that would be cool. that i would actually go to a store and walk in and buy a cd of

  • @thisjustin3 There are on bootlegs, Acetates has goats head soup and it's only r n r, including definative verion of drift away and the killer tune, criss cross man. Also the trident sessions and olympia sessions outakes from the late sixties, early seventies, they sound great, some instrumantals, some complete.

  • This is supposed to be an exile outtake but is anything but. How can Jagger expect to sound the same almost 40 years later, The stones should have included an entire disc of actual exile outtakes because there all out there already in bootleg form, instead we get rerecordings!

  • MICK on LARRY KING talking EXILE right NOW!!! (5/18)

(will rerun in about two hours)

  • Anyone have a personnel list? Which of the new tracks have Nicky on piano?

  • exile on main street is one of the greatest albums ever in the history of ever

  • It's not danceable and it's not relaxing to listen to. I'm a huge Rolling Stones fan, but it's just average.

  • "I f*cked your woman for money" @ 2:01

  • @airevault

"I thought you wanted my money" - listen again. So the premise works - you didn't steal my money but you did get my soul. It happens.

  • @AllenOption8 I know, I know. But it's an fun old pastime to hear what you want in Mick's vocals.

  • Keith Richards in RSM in Exile interview May 2010 :

" Mick Taylor is such a vituoso. He still amazes me. If I had my way, he'd still be in the band. "

Come on Mick, Keith, and Mick and make it happen ! YES !

  • oh my, im lovin this, cant stop listening to it.. quality as always..

  • YES bring back Bill and Mick T for some concerts and even recordings....

  • oooooo that is the stuff!

  • Pre-sales have been pretty strong so far. There is a chance the Stones could enter the charts at #1 in several countries around the world as well as the Global chart with the Exile re-issue.

#1 at Amazon if that means anything.

  • are you gay?

  • I'm totally addicted to this song

  • god damn thats good!!

  • these are the true GLIMMER TWINS - KEITH RICHARDS & BILL WYMAN, MICK JAGGER & MICK TAYLOR, CHARLIE WATTS & BRIAN JONES, RON WOOD & ROD STEWART

  • This is the classic Stones sound from what I believe was their best era.

  • Wait. This isn't the mix I have on the single version!

  • as ever a new ROLLING STONES song just make me happiest living

  • What an amazing song and incredible it didn't make the album.

The Rolling Stones never stop impressing me and though I have a bias towards Sticky Fingers and Exile On Main Street, I've loved them through all the years and always find hints of brilliance in every single album they put out.

Great song. Long live the Stones!!!!
