As far as the superb job she did on this song, it was said that she was completely in the spirit while singing this song. I think you can see that when you look into her eyes when she looked at the camera during the performance. Vestal's last video performance was at the Potter's House in 2002 or 2003.  She continued to tour right up until her death in 2003

I went to see the Gaither's when they came to Tulsa recently. There was a lot of cheering and applause throughout the 5 hour concert but the part that drew the most applause (besides 'Because he Lives') was when they showed this clip of Vestal. It was moving beyond words. Truly amazing. Then everyone started singing along with her and I can not tell you how powerful that moment was. Even Bill was silenced after and said he was lost on what to do next because he was so touched.
