  • does your tank still sound like this?

  • @Teslasdik Yes it does.

  • Very nice Ry. When you get the new one set up nice you should put up a video of it.

  • looks great!

  • what up where is the new tank

  • how long did you cycle your aquarium? i already started mine i had it for 8 days so far .

  • nice setup!

  • can you sleep when you're hearing this noise?

  • Yea it took a couple nights to get use to

  • I bet. I have many reptiles in my room and they all have a red night light that makes my room shine red and one of the terrariums has a waterfall so there is also a constant dripping sound with ed light. I am still trying to get used to it.

  • I cant sleep with out i mean

  • what kind of mushrooms are those at :56?

  • cool tank

    im getting a 55 gallon.

How many fish do u think i could get if a just got clownfish, damsels and invertebrates?

  • get better fish than damsels. with a 55 you could have 2 clowns. and still have like 4-5 other smallish fish

  • You planning on adding any more live rock? Looks like it could use some more..means more coral and better filtration! Love the mated pair of clowns

  • Added little more rock. Been running great as is. I have a huge live sand bed (4 inches deep) and my filtration is awesome! Not sure what you mean but i have a 20L tank under the main tank with protien skimmer, live rock, tree diff chambers and light.

  • i think he meant more bio. filtration. I love your tank

  • nice tank man

  • thanks!

  • nice engenuity with that bridge.

  • thanks, yea rock placement is key!

  • how much did you spend in total to get this saltwater setup? i'm planning to start my first saltwater aquarium (it will be my first time owning any fish/aquarium) and have 1grand max so hopefully it will cover a 30gallon tank with 2 false percula clownfish. heard it was really expensive so asking you since you already purchased everything there is to get to maintain the tank/fish.

  • thousand bucks is plenty for a 30 gal! That would get you everything and more. i spent about 1500 bucks on mine.

  • Just remember, common parameters (ex. temp, salinity, ect..) can change quicker with time in a smaller volume of water, than a larger volume of water. Sensitive (more expensive) fish will react to this quick changes.

I have a 65 gal tank and it's a nice size to manage. Just something to think about.

  • wow nice tank wt type of rock is it

  • yea there was 40lbs of live rock at the time. i added 20 more.... i dont like cluttering the tank with too much rock. they say 1 pound to every gallon but my tank was doin great even with just 40lbs. thanks for the comments.

  • Agreed, But it really does improve. Do you have a sump perhaps?

  • Yup i have a 20 gal sump with a protein skimmer and such.

  • I agree with saltwaterfishrule, but the bridge on the right looks cool. Nice Tank!

  • I would add more LR ,but other than that I love your tank!!

  • Its a coralife 4x65watt power compact. Nothing to crazy. Thanks for the comment!

  • what kind of lightening do you have very good looking tank awesome!

  • Your tank is looking good Ry. Keep up the good work.
