I bet. I have many reptiles in my room and they all have a red night light that makes my room shine red and one of the terrariums has a waterfall so there is also a constant dripping sound with ed light. I am still trying to get used to it.
Added little more rock. Been running great as is. I have a huge live sand bed (4 inches deep) and my filtration is awesome! Not sure what you mean but i have a 20L tank under the main tank with protien skimmer, live rock, tree diff chambers and light.
how much did you spend in total to get this saltwater setup? i'm planning to start my first saltwater aquarium (it will be my first time owning any fish/aquarium) and have 1grand max so hopefully it will cover a 30gallon tank with 2 false percula clownfish. heard it was really expensive so asking you since you already purchased everything there is to get to maintain the tank/fish.
Just remember, common parameters (ex. temp, salinity, ect..) can change quicker with time in a smaller volume of water, than a larger volume of water. Sensitive (more expensive) fish will react to this quick changes.
I have a 65 gal tank and it's a nice size to manage. Just something to think about.
yea there was 40lbs of live rock at the time. i added 20 more.... i dont like cluttering the tank with too much rock. they say 1 pound to every gallon but my tank was doin great even with just 40lbs. thanks for the comments.
does your tank still sound like this?

cool tank
im getting a 55 gallon.
How many fish do u think i could get if a just got clownfish, damsels and invertebrates?
gigaboy74 3 years ago
get better fish than damsels. with a 55 you could have 2 clowns. and still have like 4-5 other smallish fish

You planning on adding any more live rock? Looks like it could use some more..means more coral and better filtration! Love the mated pair of clowns

thousand bucks is plenty for a 30 gal! That would get you everything and more. i spent about 1500 bucks on mine.
