holy jumping blind cave fish, that's a great version. I like the F# cuckoo call, a la Dink Roberts. interesting to see you don't move your right hand much to conserve energy--I think I've been swinging too high. my version's on youtube somewhere, but it isn't as fast & rollicking. cheers!

That's the best rendition of Clarence Ashley's version I've seen (after looking at about 20 others over the last 30 minutes.) You've got the galloping, slightly out of control rhythm down and the tone is great.
