I've waited till now to comment. I know there are issues surrounding teen pregnancy. I know some fathers are crappy and some are brilliant and the same for mothers. I don't think we should judge people when it's done. It's not going to change anything and it makes those doing the judging look stupid. We should educate, support, explain and love. Like it or not it happens and it's not the child's fault and they are the ones it should all be about.

I have 4 children. I had epidurals with my first 2 and with my 4th. I was already dialated to 7 cm when I got to the hospital with my 3rd so I could not get any pain meds at all. I can promise you I love all 4 of my children the same I do not love my 3rd child any more than my other 3. I also don't consider myself selfish because I got epidurals, and neither are the other women who get them while in labor.
Is it really selfish to get epidural when your giving birth? I mean...when I have children I am going to love the feeling of having him or her inside me but I don't want to feel pain...I'm afraid that if I go through the pain I won't feel the same about my child when he or she is out...but I don't want to be selfish...
@XOkryssi Usually when you have to work for something it makes it that much more sweet when you get it. You might feel even more attached to your baby if you don't get epidural.

This 8th and 9th part made me tear up... I had my beautiful daughter when I was 16. I do not regret ever having her, it would have been a whole lot easier if I had waited though. I am 15 and cant imagine me raising a kid now, I mean later I want a family but not when I am growing up myself..It'd be just too hard. I still have to get my drivers permit, my drivers license, get a part time job to save for colllege, finish highschool, graduate, go through college and get a good job with a house...Now I probably couldnt do none of that with a baby to worry about. Babies cost so much. But there is teens who is pregnant... I give them credit for being a mom and a teen its hard.

I have 4 children. I had epidurals with my first 2 and with my 4th. I was already dialated to 7 cm when I got to the hospital with my 3rd so I could not get any pain meds at all. I can promise you I love all 4 of my children the same I do not love my 3rd child any more than my other 3. I also don't consider myself selfish because I got epidurals, and neither are the other women who get them while in labor.

Is it really selfish to get epidural when your giving birth? I mean...when I have children I am going to love the feeling of having him or her inside me but I don't want to feel pain...I'm afraid that if I go through the pain I won't feel the same about my child when he or she is out...but I don't want to be selfish...

@XOkryssi Usually when you have to work for something it makes it that much more sweet when you get it. You might feel even more attached to your baby if you don't get epidural.

@XOkryssi how is it selfish? so are you saying all the woman that got an epidural are selfish for doing that?, well your wrong and when I have kids im getting an epidural becuase im not no super woman and obviously not going to injoy the feeling of entense pain, im still going to love my child the same way even if I didnt get the apidural. not getting an apidural doesn't change the mothers reaction from when her baby comes out. my sister got an epidural and she cryed tears of joy.

I wish so many movies didn't make pregnancy look like the most painful, worst, diabolical thing in life ever. It's supposed to be a spiritual and emotional bond through mother and child, the pain is supposed to be turned into 'woo's' and deep breaths. So many mothers are losing that and just turning to scheduled births, c-sections, and pain medication for their own selfish need, not realizing what it does to the baby. This 8th and 9th part made me tear up... I had my beautiful daughter when I was 16. I do not regret ever having her, it would have been a whole lot easier if I had waited though. This goes out to all you young girls, wait until you are married or at least READY to raise and support a baby. I speak from personal experience. Your whole life will change :) I love my baby girl

I am 15 and cant imagine me raising a kid now, I mean later I want a family but not when I am growing up myself..It'd be just too hard. I still have to get my drivers permit, my drivers license, get a part time job to save for colllege, finish highschool, graduate, go through college and get a good job with a house...Now I probably couldnt do none of that with a baby to worry about. Babies cost so much. But there is teens who is pregnant... I give them credit for being a mom and a teen its hard.
