@MagicKirin Cibernetico, Dr Wagner Jr, Octagon come to mind, tons of Japanese stars too.. and I barely count WCW anyway as the Japanese imports were always misused, as were most of the lucha stars. There's a lot of younger stars that have never set foot in WWE and who knows if they ever will...interesting to think about.
@MagicKirin Well, we got to see Kurt Angle & Yuji Nagata, that works. & I was mistaken--Cibernetico was in WWF. Nothing memorable, though, as one might expect.
Mutoh is such a god, The man saved AJPW. Has Won Countless Titles. Always Put The Sport First...Yes Sport! Not Entertainment. And Always Seems Humble In Success. Mutoh/Muta Forever.
@Sanguiluna defeating Masahiro Chono (January 4, 1993)- It's when the NWA Belt was going through a transitional period as a second class belt in WCW, Which Sucks. Still Wished For Muta To Be In The Spot Yoko Had, Imagine Muta Vs Hart At Wrestlemania 9.
@JPTest22 Some succeed in WWE using personas they'd developed elsewhere (e.g Atlas, JYD, Rude, Piper, Valentine), while others lose some of their heat with the way the WWE sells them (e.g. Steamboat, Race, Ultimo). However: I've always been impressed by the WWE's uncanny ability to nurture some into top-card status when no other promotion was able (e.g Undertaker, Hogan, Booker T, Savage, Michaels, Foley). Being fair to the WWE burns, but they DO elevate just as many as they bury.
The Muta portion of Bloodstained Memoirs was the best thing in the doc. I'd put it just above the Jericho and Ultimo Dragon portions. I remember when this trailer came out the day before its release. Class move!
Because he has his own big wrestling promotion in Japan which he has owned for years and still wrestles in. Besides, he is respected in Japan and Mexico. Going into the WWE will make him just a mid-card player. WWE sucks anyway. No talent compared to the Japanese and Mexicans. Ultimo Dragon went into the WWE for about 2 years and he never even won a championship! And he's one of the greatest high-flyers ever.
@ProWrestlingFan90 Not just high-flier,overall wrestler.Dragon is a sensation.Its gotten to the point,I dont even associate pro wrestling with WWE.It makes the sport into a joke,and laughed upon.Same can be said about TNA sometimes.
@ProWrestlingFan90 Actually, I think WWE would've used him well if he had gone there. A the worst, they'd probably give him a stupid gimmick like they did with Dos Caras Jr. And unlike Ultimo, Muta has the "look" that WWE values in their performers, which is a definite plus.
Because Muta is too good for Taker and his level of greatness would cause Vince McMahon and everyone involved with WWE's heads to violently explode.....
@cdowg187 WWE cannot be expected to sign every famous wrestler from every part of the world and give each one equal exposer. You must remember that WWE is a business concern. The fans donot always accept alien wrestlers. WWE fans didnot accept Ric Flair when he first came to the WWE. Wrestlers are still made on a trial and error method.
@bonnyathome One man runs the show at WWE and thats Vince and WWE will never have the best wrestlers in the world all they do is dumb down their guys anyway like Daniel Bryan? come on Bryan Danielson is worlds better than pretty much their whole roster I pray Muta never goes to WWE and the trail and error thing your wrong about Vince Makes these guys Just like he did with no talent Cena
@lissa42186 I stick by my earlier comment. The Wrestling Roster has remained unchanged since the carnival days of grappling. the promoter would have one main attraction or a strong-man or a freak (Andre, Hogan, Cena), a few were used as fodder for the main attraction, and then you had the one shooter, who when time came, could wrestle anyone of the audiance should they challenge the main attraction. Bryan Danielson, as good as he is, is still not the best draw.
muta vs flair. There would be puddles of blood.

@MagicKirin There are LOADS of Japanese/Mexican stars who've never worked for WWE.
C0NTR4l34ND 6 days ago
@C0NTR4l34ND
That did work for WCW?
Only Muta, Chono and a couple other worked for 1 not the other.
What top Mexican stars have not worked WWE? Konan did he was Max Moon, Juevitued and Psicosis did.

@C0NTR4l34ND
But my original point was that the two gretest stars who realy had an impact in WCW that never wrestled for Vince were Sting and Muta.
If you want to add chono fine.
But none of these other stars worked for either U.S promotion
I would have loved to see some of the one we can only see on youtube against a Bret Hart, Kurt Angle or Undertaker but they were never here.

Muta does not need to be in the wwe. He is above that. He has standards, something which the wwe does not have.
I mean, wtf are they gonna do to him, have the bookers book a match between Muta and cena where cena wins?
FUCK THAT SHIT!!!

kids these days would laugh if they saw Muta think he is corny an shit but he had that "extreme gimmick' before Sting, Taker, Kane etc

@karan6 Muta's career is definitely the material of legends. However, he was hardly the first wrestler ever to wear make-up & blow green smoke.

because of his iconic stature in Japan, Vince would bury him just because he can.
