It took me less than a minute to figure out where this video was going. Black men responded to you better when your hair was straight than the did when it was natural. If your hair looks the way it does on this screen shot that I see of you to the left, than it's understandable why. Your hair looked a bit disheveled and you don't have to look that way to be natural. Your fro can be neatly trimmed and shaped or you can put it in puffs or used hair accessories.
I'm white & I like black girls with super big afros, smaller afros or even bald. I like straight hair too but it's a shame so few black girls don't feel secure enough to have natural hair. I've always thought a bit strange that so many black women have straightened or artificial hair.

I went natural back in May and I rock an afro and actually I've had more black guys approach me than when I had relaxed hair or wore a weave..Guys have even complimented me on the natural look. I say feel beautiful with your natural locks~ because you are :)

I just recently decided to go natural after I've been texlaxing, and I'm 21 years old. I was always getting a fair amount of attention, but I'm attracting even more attention now that my hair is in twists. You will also attract different races of men with your natural hair, especially when it gets a little longer.

I think to make this a race issue is probably over-interpretation. Girls always seem to want to be different than they are. If they have curly hair, they want it straight; if they have straight hair, they want it curly; if they have dark skin, they want it lighter; and I've seen too many white girls turn orange after skin treatments. Humans dont have the freedom of seeing beauty unique to their own perspective. Maybe this is due to evolution, or idk, but it makes me sad. It may be harder to find a man that loves your natural hair while youre in high school. You might find more men that like it after you graduate. I just recently decided to go natural after I've been texlaxing, and I'm 21 years old. I was always getting a fair amount of attention, but I'm attracting even more attention now that my hair is in twists. You will also attract different races of men with your natural hair, especially when it gets a little longer.

I understand where you are coming from. Im 23. I've had long relaxed hair, a short twa, then shoulder length puerto rican like curly weave after the bc. I see about 100 customers an hour at work. When I had relaxed hair i attracted black men aged 20+. With my twa mostly white men in their 40's but some middle aged black men. As soon as I put in the weave black men my age who previously ignored me gave me play.It declined as soon as I took it out. One said im still cute but he prefers the weave

I think to make this a race issue is probably over-interpretation. Girls always seem to want to be different than they are. If they have curly hair, they want it straight; if they have straight hair, they want it curly; if they have dark skin, they want it lighter; and I've seen too many white girls turn orange after skin treatments. It seems to be in their nature.
