  • someone know why mypaint stop working? it dosnt load, it worked perfect 1 day and now nothing... :S

  • @sebasural2: Are you using the Windows version? I would say uninstall and then reinstall the package. The problem might be due to a driver conflict.

  • does MyPaint work on Mac? D:

  • @sparky3211 hmm I'm not sure but I think it's available to mac too

you can check it in official site at mypaint(.)intilinux(.)com/?page_id=6

  • @sparky3211 Hi! Sorry, the only Mac build is an experimental one (via AirPorts) and not in very good shape. No one with enough Mac programming knowledge has stepped in to help with the port, so it's been set aside for now. ^^'

  • e_e I need helpppp.. How do we do layers? The colors always overlap with the lineart when I color. And unlike photoshop elements.. there isn't a button readily available to 'multiply' layers.

  • @deatXbyXchocolate335 you should make sure the lineart is on the top of layer of coloring to make the lineart still visible :)

  • @deatXbyXchocolate335

Ohhh! That makes so much sense! xD Thank you so much.

  • @deatXbyXchocolate335: Also, press "L" to invoke the layers tool. From there, it works much the same as it does in Photoshop. (except there is no multiply layers or Layer effects feature, since it's outside the purpose of the program) :)

  • epic! what brushes are u using here?

  • @yorugecko thanks, I'm using TK_sketch_ink_2 brush :)

  • @hayashinomura I will try it thank you :)

  • @yorugecko welcome :D

  • o: yays for mypaint!

  • Third amazing thing is that detail and luster of her armour, which was done brilliantly and in so little time! The overall look is awesome, and I swear the girl looks familiar (is she one of those early game characters you once showed me?).

    But most amazing of all...

    ...

Was the adorable chibi-Haya animation at the start! That could be a whole video by itself! ^v^

  • Second amazing thing is that you only use one tool for all this (Tone Sketch Ink 2?) And yet you can stretch the limits of it so that it performs so many great functions at once! I take it you're using the Express buttons on the Intuous to control tip size too, no? :)

[although if all you use is simple pressure to control blot size, that's even MORE amazing!] ^o^

  • Waddya mean? All your video tutorials are 1 layer style, LOL! XD

That aside, another amazing jewel by Haya-profil!! ^^b

First amazing part is that this is sketched 100% digitally, so in less than 2 weeks you finally got used to the full digital world. And results are impressive, since it looks exactly like your hand sketches! ^.^b

[and done+coloured in less time thanks to the magic of right-click palette swap] ^o^b
