This is absolutely stunning. I love that it is a male instrumentalist as opposed to a female one. Since shamisen are generally played by women, the fact that it is a man really speaks volumes. The instrumentalist exerts his masculinity through his body language, style of playing, clothing, and the overall combination of the small aspects of the performance. This is so incredibly excellent. I cannot accurately express my satisfaction at how sincerely and artfully tasteful this video is.
