This was the one game on TPIR where if you had a little mathematical insight you couldn't lose. They did away with the game because it confused people! A classic symptom of how dumbed down our society has become.

I did NOT even know that the Price is Right Hit Me game is retired. This was played just like Blackjack and a LOT of people were winners on Hit Me as well.

The only reason I could see this being confusing to someone who isn't completely retarded, is maybe the game was too difficult for people who didn't buy certain products very often, in which case they probably shouldn't be on the Price is Right. :P

I was able to figure that out easily because $3.79 is not divisible by anything else from 1 to 10. It's just another strategy that so many other contestants miss. And man, prices were so much lower and Bob did not have whitened hair then. This must be early 80s.
