  • I seriously hope that the IIEA invite speakers of the current social democratic movement in Germany, the new Left (which is not perceived as party in English media at all...) If the rest of Europe wants German demand to increase to reduce trade imbalances, the only way I say is that the SPD is forced back to a social democratic path of expanding employees rights by strengthening this new Left. The European public should fear the current German SPD for it's antihumane tendencies.

  • I am German an I have lost all trust in German "Social Democracy". How can a party leader talk 18 min without saying anything? These days are full of challenges, especially in the German political domestic discussions. The truth is: the so called "Social Democracy" in Germany has its part in the current crisis. Gabriel is insane talking about decreasing wages in German middle classes, but not mentioning the labour market liberalisations introduced by the SPD!
