    if you aren't able to connect the slap to SA2, here's a secret many ppl don't know:

    YOU GOTTA DO THE SA2 BEFORE OR IN THE MID OF THE STAGE, OR ELSE, IT WON'T CONNECT

  • Hey everyone...just saying, to link the Slap to the SA2, you need to be before the mid of the screen of your side.

    In a proper situation, you'd obviously finish the combo ASAP. The taunt was just for fun I guess.

  • @suijin274 i think makoto's taunt gives damage bonus

  • Pretty unlikely to land on a real match, the opponent would have get up from the stun while makoto was doing the second taunt.

  • yes, for the following move, for all characters. some characters also gain a defense boost.

    just another reason why sf33rd is fucking win :D

  • Pretty sure not all characters gain a damage boost, and some characters gain other benefits, such as increased stun gauge. Also, some do a small amount of damage.

  • Yes, makoto's taunts increase damage and they stack (I think up to 3 times), so if you have time to do a few taunts in a row the next hit is a doozie

  • take a look at the hit count in the end of combo message.

  • Can you connect a karakusa into a slap into an SAII? With th eauto block on? thats what every Makoto character should practice.

  • @lahomie84 If you stun a character in Street Fighter, then any hits during the dizzy animation count toward the same combo.

    Come on it's just a training mode combo.

    This would be entirely feasible out of her command grab though, and would probably do comparable damage and stun.

    all he needs after that was a jump up Roundhouse,Standing Fierce and a EX Dashpunch

  • @SheuhX I think he would still be able to kill him even without the taunting. He would still stun Akuma after the EX Fukiage. And he could have just jump HP, land, s.HP into EX Oroshi still right?
