LOL. This cartoon was made in 1945. Remember WWII? I am not from the 1st generation this cartoon "cycled" through, but this was shown in school. Why would the U.S. show this to children? Both fascist and communist systems were responsible for most heinous atrocities, e.g the dictatorships of Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pot. As long as a dictatorship defends its power by brutal means, there will be no freedom. "Alpha animals" who cannot be legally removed from power will tend to stick to it and will try to suppress any opposition, that's human nature: Communism does not better it.
