  • Beautiful :)

  • I like it when I walk just about on a corner and the freak out and do a dance at me, Then realise I am the one who puts out their seed so they follow me home.

  • It's hard to hear them fully on here. They are amazingly loud.

  • Got a family of these guys visiting my yard once or twice a week, just hanging out..scaring the crap out of me by calling right next to my door (which is next to my computer)..

cute guys...and will let me get pretty close. (close enough to almost snatch a dorito out of my hand anyhow, but that came after a long time of slow trust buildup)

  • I was those in Florida in kissemee at orange lake resort

  • bigger bird says to little bird " you just got SERVED!"

  • @bloggerrick I hope they eventually found them. How neat you were able to watch them up close. lucky you!

  • Great video "and" audio catch!

  • i see these fuckers every single day!!!! well not those two in perticular but u know what i mean. dont mess with them when they with their young!!! i have been chased hence i work at a golf course here in FL lol. they nice birds but when they with their young they are the opposite lol

  • I have posted a couple of videos I've taken of the Sandhill Cranes in Viera Florida and in the Wetlands, you may enjoy watching! silkscreen01 on youtube

  • We have 2 in our HUGE yard and whenever my mom goes out to refill the corn in their "feeder," they extend their wings, sidestep, and squawk VERY VERY loudly.

  • It's pretty obnoxious the way you're antagonizing them.

  • you're provoking them. That's cheating.

  • you're provoking them. I can here you making noise and saw your hand waving.

  • you're provoking them.

  • they are good eating. down here in the south L.A we callem ''ribeye in the sky''

  • you are all ridiculous.

these stupid birds wake me up every morning at 4:30am..real beautiful huh?!?! NO

  • @seysoftball17

Get a heart for life, dude.

  • My Courtship Dance is better. ^^

  • I have a pair of these that lives around my house, that sound is absolutely normal for them to make; and they make it at just about every chance they can get. They make it to stay within communication of each other (I'm assuming these two here are a mated pair) and the hopping and flailing you see is a 'dance' that they preform before mating.

  • they usually make this noise when there is another animal around. the dancing is a mating thing.

  • Awesome video. I can't believe you got so close to them!

  • That ain't no dance. Those are two males having a territorial dispute. The squawking has nothing to do with the human filming and everything to do with the other bird.

  • amazing

  • All these views and comments but olny a few ratings?

  • Lmao, reminds me of a screamo song, I heard the other day, well the Bird roar in the beggining does

  • awesome!sandhills are the oldest birds in north america!

  • yes very beautiful burdz XD but their call just creeps me out

  • I love it when they dance - they do this little bowing thing with their head and stick their beaks in the air...

    It's so beautiful!

Thanks for capturing that and making me smile : ).

  • Sounds like something from jurassic park

  • It's Mothman!

  • lol i just saw two of them in my backyard......wow theere annoying lol

  • I absolutely adore these birds. We used to have a pair at my stables, but the female moved on after the male was shot. A shame, really. Beautiful creatures!

  • I love the way they sound, it's awesome. I can actually somewhat make that sound. But anyways, my point is they are super tasty birds. Better then ducks and geese I'd say.

  • These birds live behind my apartment and wake me up every morning with their loud squawking!

  • Marvelous. I wish the film were better quality but still, a joy to watch. Thank you!

  • I love sandhill cranes and I don't know why I have a fascination towards them, but damn that noise woke me up this morning!

    Beautiful birds though.

  • I live in FL so I see alot of them, but I still like to see them!

  • what funny noises!
