  • Hi, a have a problem, when a run recabinet in cubase 5 a listen a dirty noise, some like hhuumm, and ai not have idea of how fixed, thanx.

  • @illustrisimus Email Recabinet support using the contact form on our website. What version of Recabinet are you using? Please also include the following details about your system: operating system/version, CPU, RAM.

  • Love how the guitar is similar to mine, using the Shechter Demon 7FR with 707's love the tone ive got now, Thanks alot Recabinet! :)

  • Great tutorial, killer tones.

  • Hi, video is great ! But how do/did you manage phasing problems ?

I mean 2 mics in different distance- it occured not just in real life, but also with Recab too ... or at least in my project... Thanks for answering !

  • @gregparadi Either download the free Recabinet 2.1 update, or upgrade to our new plugin Recabinet 3. Both are fully phase coherent.

  • Great video dude

  • I wonder if you can get that Eric Clapton Wheels of Fire tone. Overloaded mic.

  • Y'know I bought Recabinet quite some time ago but never got around to using it seriously until my copy of Superior Drummer 2.0 came in the other day. I was using the 121 and 57 both on the cap on the grill from what little my memory recalled from this video and the tone was alright. I just revisited this video, followed the steps, and now my tone is massive and cuts brilliantly. Thank you so much for this video and Recabinet!

  • cracking- great set of impulses.

  • Great tutorial..Looking forward to more vids from u!

  • I bought them they are awesome -I highly recommend these.

But please Shane can you do another tutorial video, as these are extremely helpful.

  • @MrBIOSkunk We're working on a dedicated plugin for Recabinet v3, which will be able to do blending internally and will make the workflow much faster. Once it's done, I'm sure I'll do more videos.

  • yah, i bought this.. GREAT collection of IR's and well worth the money.

Scar Symmetry is the shit btw, awesome choice!

  • @scrotzki789 Thanks! Yeah I suppose the clip was Scar Symmetry inspired, although it's not exactly the same riff (for example, the actual song has fewer notes on the guitar, and the keyboard part is doing the chord progressions.)

  • What was used for the drums?

  • @Reaper1984 Steven Slate Drums.

  • Thanks for the tutorial! I read about your software on some forum while I was researching some pedals and for $15 I decided to just give it a shot. I only played around with it last night in Logic 9 for a few minutes but wow am I impressed! Can't wait to record some full tracks with it!

  • thanx a lot for showing us how to make it sound pro haha I know I wouldn't have thought of doing this!

  • Thanks for sharing Kazrog! This sounds awesome. I look forward to trying it out myself. I've been looking for a nice, easy way to record my sansamp PSA1 and think I have found the solution with Recabinet. Keep up the great work!

  • aha cannot replace the mic you used to record your voice for this tutorial! mwhahahaha

  • hahahahaha gr8 man LoL

  • The tutorial is fine. The music is just noise... :(

  • good stuff.

Purchased Recabinet although I pirated it first, just because it rules so hard.

  • Very, very useful video! Thank you.

  • I just purchased this too. They have an amazing special going on right now; the whole Complete package for $14.99!

  • I recently purchased the Complete 2.02 package, and it's amazing! Great job!

    Highly recommended!

  • Spectacular, I tried the demos and they sound hellish!!!!!!!!!!! When I can buy the complete edition.

    greetings from argentina!

  • @emmanscorleonne: Get it, 15 usd is almost nothing for us living in a country with bad economy (I'm from Argentina too). They are totally worth it

  • AWESOME TUTORIAL KAZROG!! 1k+ views but no comments??

  • Interesting

  • How did you eq the D6 mic channel track? ? ? It wasn't shown!

  • @Flaming676 Yeah, my bad, somebody on my forum called me on this a while back. I posted an EQ screenshot on the Recabinet forums.

Sorry for neglecting to check YouTube comments for this long!

  • Excellent tutorial on blending multiple mics sims. Very clear demo -- please post more helpful tips! Thanks.

Recabinet is a great tool for recreating authentic guitar tone -- I'm glad I got it.

  • a good start to show its powers . But i guess this program is most used by homercording amateurs (like me) -and semiprofessional who DON´t have different racks or mics to do it in real life. So some hints would be helpfull how you which settings to use to get a similar sound like the big ones. the manual isn´t too helpfull in this case.

  • @gp170276 Understood, and I am in total agreement with you. We'll be releasing Recabinet v3 later this Summer, which will have a dedicated plugin that will allow you to blend cabs and mics internally, and will come with a ton of great presets to get you started.

  • Sweet . im gonna buy this impulses asap

  • NIIIICE! Thanks for the help, can't wait for more!

P.S. you sound IDENTICAL to the guy from zeitgeist.

  • nicely done tutorial!

  • Great. It would be perfect if you also had fonts and words that say what you used written and not only by voice. Or maybe subtitles..

  • Excellent video. Probably the best one I have seen on the subject. I have had Recabinet since version 1. Excellent stuff. Amazing how real the impulses sound!

Now you have me gassing for an e530.

  • Thanks Shane! Love the product, and I found this video very helpful for a good place to start experimenting.

    -MarkG

  • Great, keep them comming, man. And people, get it now while the 80% off discount is still going :D

  • Hey Shane; good video. It would be quite useful to hear recabinet in a full mix, with all of the quad-tracking glory that you refer to at the end of the video. Gives people an idea of what they can achieve if they put in the effort!

  • @amberience I totally agree, I should do that in the next video.

  • Cool video!

    Please post your preamp settings.

    Thanks,

    Dimi

  • Nice! :)

  • Very nice mate...I bought Recabinet on the special, and know what they're about, and know heaps about guitars and amps, but know very little about mics, so these will DEFINITELY be a winner for me. Good job and keep up the good work! (Kaaswros on KVR ;) )
