James Cameron for Terminator 5 and 6, IF ever given the green light, so we can end the Terminator Saga once and for all with DECENT movies. Terminator 3 and Salvation isnt a patch on Terminator 1/2. I wished Cameron held onto the rights and just had that enthusiasm to continue with it
Terminator 3 & 4 are badass but yeah not on the same level as T2, T1 is a classic but dated & only admirable because of the low budget & original story.
T5 & 6 will happen either way & if anything, Cameron should just produce them since he's unlikely to direct. He wanted T2 to end where it ended but Andrew J. Vajna & Mario Kassar wanted him to leave it open so they could get rich, LOL.
The Sarah Connor T.V. show while not great at least had a character named Cameron as a tribute to him.
Sannasonics, I responded to this concern million times already. I cannot combine the clips into one, because they are in .mov format and none of my video editing softwares support this format. I was unable to get one for free that would let me convert .mov into windows.
I keep forgetting that this guy directed Titanic! Dx When I think of James Cameron I think of Aliens and the Terminator movies......but then, Titanic! Yuck! Dx
really? I believe that Titanic was his best work. It was a highlight of his entire career. I highly doubt that he'll create another film that would gain as much success worldwide as Titanic did.

Most over-rated director in the history of filmmaking....No really. Please, try and think of another. What an obnoxious individual, in terms of his belligerent disregard for those who MADE the rules that he so closely follows and borrows from. To call him "visionary", as some ignorant 15 year old fans have, is akin to calling a $.99 burger a "new direction in the culinary arts". However, he certainly doesnt "Suck", he is very skilled at hiding his shortcomings with eye-candy.
unfortunately, you are extremely ignorant. cameron most over-rated director? don't make me laugh! if anything, he is extremely under-rated, particularly by pretentious blowhards such as yourself, unable to see past the shroud of big-budget genre filmmaking and superficial judgements thereof; one of the few who can balance strong characters and narrative with big budget spectacle and ground-breaking 'eye-candy', as you put it.
all of his films have prevalent humanistic underpinnings and consistent thematic tropes, as well as strong feminist subtext, and themes of nuclear family and paternalism/materalism, extremely unusual for action/ sci fi movies. and for such a tech-oriented guy, his films are pretty cautionary about the use/misuse of tecnology. all that in addition to his films being genuinely groundbreaking, meticulously crafted, and exceptionally entertaining. so, in what way, is this guy not 'visionary'?
And as for what cameron is apparently like as an individual, what concern is that for anyone but his friends and associates? the public simply watches his films (or not), and judges him on that. (and what the fuck are you babbling about - that he has 'disregard' for those who made the 'rules' he borrows from???) so next time you choose to dismiss the comments of apparently '15 year old fans', try putting some effort in, you silly cunt. take a fucking walk you arrogant and unintelligent moron.
i'd even say he has made a large impact on the way we view female action heroes...clearly a victory from a feminist standpoint.
sarah connor, ripley, lindsey brigman (from the abyss)...even rose from titanic. none of them felt the same, none of them were wimpy pathetic girls waiting for boys to save them...and more than that, they were BELIEVABLE. something lesser directors, writers (and actors) have not managed.
agreed. yeah, one of his strengths is that he doesn't just write female characters that could be easily interchanged with guys, or male fantasy figures like lara croft.
I'm sorry, this video is in .mov format. None of my programs support it. That's why I wasn't even able to combine these shorts clips into one. And I don't have a video converter.

Also, this interview is added to its separate playlist, so it's easier to watch all the clips in order.

Why don't you just edit the video into one?
instead of five short ones?
And Titanic is the best movie ever made.
Jack Dawson is alive!

Try Prism video converter. Works perfectly fine for me. And it can conveert your files into wmv. =)

Thanks! I tried that, but I'm not getting any sound. I have updated Windows Media Player (version 11) and I tried with version 9, still nothing.
I'll have to see what's up, since converting to mp3 also doesn't give me any sound!

The whole industry recognized as a succcessful filmmaker. Are you telling me those people wouldn't call him visionary?
