This needs a remake.. A remake like ff4 and such got. Sure, it would be fantastic to see this done like people want FF7 to be done. You know, PS3 graphics.. but they probably won't do thatj (just simply for the fact that.. creating ps3 graphics mixed with the open world (in comparison.. funny how JRPGS like this were once considered too linear by hardcore RPG fans)) would prove YEARS of work.

No no, I'm talking a half way upgrade. PS2 graphics or even DS remake graphics would do it justice.

Yes. Because PSP sales are very low, surprisingly low actually. They've always made their remakes on Nintendo handhelds anyways.

The way everyone say that FF13 sucks does sound kinda offensive. It doesn't suck, it's actually kinda good. But if you compare theese two, this one definitly win. It would be sick for a remake with such graphics as FF13.

It's both technically, it was number 6 in Japan and number 3 in North America because they only released half of the original 6 in North America. That's why the first one for PS1 was number 7 instead of 4.

i don't know why so many people can have a hard-on about 10, 8, or even 7 comparitively when half of them have never experienced the almost "perfect" RPG experience that was 6. in my opinion the first 6 FF were the most endearing and worth memory.

Actually, the scene shown at 4:11 is right after the Opera House, on route to the Imperial continent for the first time. You land near Albrook. MagiTek factory is the next dungeon/event.

I played both, and I like 6 just a little more. I felt like the music quality, the translations, the characters, and the story in general were all just a cut above. However, I think this one would just be ruined by next-gen graphics, and all the magic of the classic 16-bit sprites would be lost. I think 7's basic 3D graphics is more compatible with next-gen graphics, it has a lot of room for improvement, whereas 6 has some of the best 2D sprites around. Compare it to FF4 and see the difference.

I remember staring at all the magazine reviews of this before its release, then my brother and I went splits on it when it released. I asked my dad if he coudl get it while I was at school that day, I came home and he said he forgot...I walked inside and it was on the table...he had me going so bad too I was so disappointed up until then...the music in this is THE most epic music ever, they just don't have the heart anymore in new games.

that is a final fantasy "oficial song" in the beginning of this game in the PS version the song is played in the screen where U choose either "new, load, bonus"..etc. also the song appears in the ff before that, but always in different part of the game, in ff7 it's in the presentation, in ff 8, 9 or 10, (don't remember which one) it's hidden in the end after the credits), it's kinda a ff "classic" song :P
