I think that the song is about like Bonnie's man just walked out on her and it is tearing her apart. And the (turn around) is that he turned her back on her and she wants him to turn around. (turn around bright eyes) Is that she wants to see him in the eyes. So in the song she is fighting for him. That's what I think. Might not be the true meaning but that's what I get from it.
