Both ambient and amiable, electronic yet ethereal, fresh but familiar, "Blumenthal" is one of my favorite pieces of music by Ulrich Schnauss. This video, a picture of fallen snow--on perhaps a farm or some other remote, rural piece of land--during Winter suits the music. As one, they transport me back to former, happier days in the snow--its crunch under my feet, the burning, cold air, an exultation at hot cocoa with marshmallows waiting inside. Those times and memories will always amaze me.

Maybe if you see the note as a form of closure it would help. Especially after such a sweeping piece of music, the closure I hear in that note brings me full circle and keeps me satisfied. Otherwise I would long for more 'amazingness'. I wish the song was 20 minutes at this quality!

we would get to know those feelings regardless of its existence in our vocabulary. speech is based on feelings for the most part of it (feelings came before speech imo). But if we would get to know a feeling non-excistent in our vocabulary then i could imagine one could feel outcasted by it. I think there is a correlation between the type of music played at parties and the mood at that party. If you play loud and rowdy music, then people will tend to be loud and rowdy. But if you play Ulrich (easygoing and beautiful), I think parties will tend to be easygoing and beautiful. I just wish people liked this type of music more...

I have how got every album Ulrich has done and I love them all. This really is an incredible piece of music though.
