I would much prefer the Typhoon on our new carriers instead of JSF....why purchase a plane from america when we already have the best jet in the world ???
We'll see how good it is if there isn't agreement on missile defense in Europe.This plane ain't nothing special neither(I know you like it though).Delta wing fighter,the delta design it's self already has drawbacks in maneuverability and overall amount of maneuvers it can withstand/perform.Which makes it easily read in close combat.Also canrads give away it's signature.If EU is pushed into conflict with Russia over S.Wars type shield Typhoon will encounter worthy enemy,unlike in past.
F-35 when it enters service(if it ever does)will be completely obsolete aircraft.It's already too costly and besides F-22 is another flying dud that will bankrupt USAF.Just imagine what radars and weapon systems potential eastern block countries will have when F-35 ever sees light of day.What stealth against future S-500 system or what Bvr combat against radars and missiles capable of seeing and taking out targets 300-400km away,and that's what Russia has now.
