  • Wow great job.

Im curious, have they not designed a software that can just copy the original wave and motions for you using the synth properties ?

  • Yes, there are a few of them but I've never really found that route to be that fun or interesting so I created this.

  • Aha. Yea i guess it also leaves more options for creativity.

Btw, are you the author of the Cookbook ?

I purchased the book some time ago and it has been a great help and provides info that most books don't. But i was wondering, now im back in the studio, i need to progress my synth programming and sound design to the next level, have you ever considered writing a second part to the book which could perhaps show us some advanced and professional tips to creating sounds ?

  • Yes, I am the author of the Cookbook. I'm glad it's been useful to you. I've given some thought to writing some additional sections on FM, additive, and possibly granular synthesis. As far as general tips on creating patches, e.g. recommended settings for programming bass, leads, pads, etc. that's something I might consider. You might want to check out the Dance Music Manual which does a good job with that type of info.

  • Would be great to see a follow up.

Yes i've been considering the Dance Music Manual, but it covers the entire spectrum of production and i was needing more specific information and advanced programming.

Did you have any input into that book ?

  • No, I didn't have anything to do with the Dance Music Manual.

  • Ok thanks
