basically it just doesnt let the hammer hit again which makes it semi, probably so they can sell it to civilians.

the spring is on there just to make it fully auto/ semi auto, and its like really relay-able.

it wont jam with this kind of system.

@csxconductor100 look, if the spring is above the rest of the gun like above the bolt and barrel and everything, its only for the gas operated system, but if its in the back, and in the same line as the barrel its for recoil and semi/fully auto (like the m4)

@MrEran1996 all AKMs are the same the only difference is the fire control group and a small mod on the bolt carrier. how does a ak work? let me tell you. a bullet is fired down the barrel half way on the barrel there is a gas port / gas block that redirects the gas into the gas tube then it drives the gas piston back ejecting the spent shell and on its way back the recoil spring pushes a new round into the chamber.

well, i watched video tutorials, youtube how an ak-47 works and you see the upper stuff of the ak with the spring doesnt do anything to the recoil kick when the bullet is first fired, you see that all the way till the gas travels to the upper part of the ak, it doesnt do anything.
