  • This performance of NYC doesn't do the piece justice. Check out the Eastman Saxophone Project! Those guys rocked it!

  • I think we had only about 4-5 hours total.

  • Im curious how many hours this was rehearsed before it was performed.

  • the clarinet articulation is terrible.

  • this video really changed my life.not only my life but the way of thinking ,drinking, and especialy walking on the city.i just want to say that this music is o v e r t h e t o p.

  • then you are a freak if THIS music has changed your life. Its amazing, this music. Not over the top.

  • Steve Reich is awesome.

  • It's pretty hard to keep all of the parts together. The rhythms aren't hard in themselves, but this is a real exercise in counting and keeping the rhythms consistent.

Sometimes, there is a recording of the other parts with a soloist playing the main part

Very nicely done, by the way.

  • haha thats a bit over the top don't you think.

  • a bit over the top? and what is it under the top dear AndycKV ? explain us which is the best way to act to make you feel nice.

  • Over the top, i believe thats a turn of phrase used to describe something exaggerated or blown out of all proportion but i guess a grasp of the english language is necessary to understand this. desiring to kill people because they're performing something you do not like...im pretty sure its self explanatory why that is over the top. why comment if you hate it, and why listen either? just enter jonas brothers or whatever shit you listen to in the search bar and keep your opinions to yourself.

  • man, that is some raunchy tone...way to play together for the most part though.

  • its not supposed to be together you twat

  • though rythmically they are dictated to not play completely simutaniously but playing very slightly off of each other is notice-able by my ear... i can hear people playing tiny fractions of a second apart from each other that couldnt possibly be musical interpretation, only the cause of not practicing enough. also people who name call generally arent greats sources of info

  • Anyone can hear that, its not overly difficult, provided you are not deaf.

  • it isn't as co-ordinated as it could be, and the tone isn't the best in some sections, but what a difficult piece to undertake! kudos.

  • Wow you on the money there! you must know this so well! gosh playin every part! that is cool X

  • life is worth living, when you have this noise. it is so lovly

  • Well put.
