  • Compared to the British, France pavilion disappointed me...

  • most of people, said that this pavillion is shit, i think that ist beautifull and contains many things related to franace, for example the gardens. the most beautiful gardens are located in france. and this white lines net represents the complexity of the french culture, like it or not France is the center of culture. not the Unitede States. im an architect and i really apreciate the architects work , so people that criticised without analizing the idea, really bothers me ,

    sorry for my english

  • lol, this is like some sort of maze

  • Been to the France pavilion and so regret for spending 4 hours just for queue in line. Conclusion, its a very boring pavilion and time wasting.

  • just went to the france pavilion. boring pavilion!

  • ...

    dynamic n progressive architecture...

    :)

    kudos

  • hm...nice architectural idea - but I don't get it....how it relate with France? Can somebody explane?

  • at least its better than the uk one, giant flexible tubes with seeds in then...

  • It's not supposed to represent a country, more like an idea, movement coming from a country. And for that, it's actually pretty awesome

BUT 50 millions Euros, WTF? W-T-FFFFFF???

Don't you have some schools, hospitals, holes in the streets to repair?

  • @a1579

We have way worse than schools and hospitals to repair. Our national debt reaches 80% of the Gross National Product. About 24'000€ per inhabitant as we're talking. We're not far from Greece, Spain and Portugal, sadly.

  • @HaramKafir vous n'avez rien compris.

  • @a1579 France has an economy of over 2 TRILLION US Dollars and you're upset that they spent 50 million Euros on a pavilion at a World's Fair! That works out to LESS than one Euro per the 65,000,000 people in France!

That's very inexpensive; it's a GREAT investment; with your logic there shouldn't even have been a fair!

  • At first I thought it was a giant soccer stadium.

  • Boring!!! Poland have the most amazing, original and excited pavilion.

  • You guys can't understand architecture. This building shows how urban and rural being united in the structure. You guys cannot say this is shit when you are inside this structure trust me.

I am a Filipino but I see how hard the architect poured his ideas. It is not just a hollow, ordinary, boring expo pavilion. Try to visit it next year and you will know you are mistaken. ^^

  • nul

  • nullllllll

  • Boring.

  • it will cost 50 millions EUROS to the french government

  • you mean...to the french themselve, like me...I'm f***g giving 2 euro to that, like the other 25 millions french people who pay taxes...I'd have rather like to buy my baguette, one cigarette and a coffee...

  • This looks like some kind of prison with trees. I wonder what that cost? What a waste!

  • pompidou center trying to be green

  • What the fuck is that shit ?

I'm French, and I'm deeply offended we're represented by a green giant yard lantern. Seriously, where are the national symbols ?! Where is the banner ?!

This shit is NOT French !

  • I agree, this is a disgrace!

  • @horthh

Yeh, seriously, where are the mosques?!

  • @rujtj

Blatant act of francophobia, not a surprise from an israeli. You should rather wonder where are the churches in your piece of land. You all hate so much goyims that you're currently letting the only church, Church of the Holy Saint Sepulchre, collapsing, not spending a single cent to fix it.

So don't come bashing us about Islam when your own country and religion is intolerant crap.

  • @HaramKafir

Don't blame it on me, just because you lost (again) your country.

  • @rujtj

We never lost it, it was only a wise choice.

  • @HaramKafir

You calling an immigration of these towel heads to your country a "wise choice"?!

  • @HaramKafir - hm....what Are you talking about? who do you blame off?....I'm israeli - and I have no idea about church and stuff...I'm just prowd of our pavilion - it is something!!!! and I'm about world wide peace - with or without any religion....so belive me, I think money have to go to the kids, researches and tecnology - and f.....sorry... other waists!!!! (sorry for my engl...hope you got my point ;)

  • @horthh It s not the best but u r a bit harsh...could have been worst...and keep the banner low for a while...

  • @horthh It looks like a white basket fell from the sky. Maybe the insides are better

  • @horthh I am not french but i went to the french pavillion and i agree with you the exterior is shit that is uncreative but the exhibits inside is good ,they let you see videos on france, they let you smell france and they let you touch france,i am serious especially the smelling part
