Sehr schade, dass es die Vorserien-Radkappen (s. bei 0:09 und 0:49 ) nie in der Serienfertigung gab. Sie sind um einiges eleganter als die plumpen Plastikdeckel der ersten Serie bis '85. Beim 190er, 124 und späten 126 hat man sich wieder dem Vorseriendesign angenähert...

@ULDMANZ Ive had that happen...timing chain guide broke, threw off the timing of one cam, pistons came up and bent every exhaust valve in one head...What a nightmare! I put another motor in, but now it over heats in 10 minutes....So the beauty of a car sits, broken, used for parts..
