WOW!! I agree 100% with EVERYTHING!! I'm a teen girl, I HATE TWILIGHT!! Teens will learn NOTHING from it & if they treat it like their religion, they will never go on to read better books. It's quite interesting how I stumbled across your video after I made my own which is very similar, in fact most of same images are used, Google image ftw!.

I'm glad we share many of the same points but I'm afraid I no longer share your optimism about the long term ramifications of the series. I fear that the "Message" of the series as a whole will lead to early marriages and an increase in domestic violence, I can only hope you turn out right in your predictions.

the hobbit and the lotr trilogy. Those are to be considered classics of fantasy, alongside Oz, Alice in Wonderland and Narnia. Yet they dont get enough attention and they've been around much longer than Twilight. I think it's stupid. Bella is a Mary-Sue character and Edward is a typical Gary-Stu. I adore the Host, written by Meyer, and ive read it a hundred times, but twilight is such a waster of her time and ours.

i would've like the idea of twilight and i would've read the entire series but i stopped at the end of new moon because it IS predictable and Bella complains about not being a vampire when at the end, she does. What a friggin' waste of time. Wth? I consider "How the hell this series is as popular as it is today." to be one of the great mysteries of world be cause in my mind there is no way in hell this series should be this popular. I thought girls were smarter than this.
