Anyone that can't appreciate Jimi can't call themselves a musician in my opinion, hes one of those people that even if you don't like their music, you just have to respect it, and the person that made it. You did a great job of covering this, I can tell you enjoy playing and there is a lot of feeling in it, I enjoy most of your videos, and that has nothing to do with you being a female, you're just a great musician and gender has nothing to do with that.

You are a gorgeous girl and it's a pity we couldn't see your hair. :-) As for the Hendrix cover, it's well played, but it really needs to be laid-back, slower and trippier (imagine Hendrix writing his songs after smoking tons of weed and having lots of sex - feelings that the player always needs to take into account when playing Hendrix)

@bloodySunday77 I didn't mean necessarily "slower" (I think you're playing on top of the original song) but a bit "lazy" - falling behind and following the band on your own terms. It's a technique that's also popular in jazz, but it requires a lot of work and many rehearsals with the band so that they communicate perfectly and understand where the song is going.

Was a very nice cover, always love seeing Little Wing being played. Suggestions though, I think you need to work on your rhythm playing, it didn't have much feel, in my opinion, and it seemed like you were struggling with it a little, like you hadn't practiced enough. But the solo was really, really good. Great feeling, great vibrato, you nailed it, playing lead is definitely where your talent is at. Good job, would like to see more videos =]

You have done well with this song Yasi, it is harder than it sounds. It has taken me years to play this comfortably and you can already play it better than me. This era of music was fantastic for the electric guitar with artists such as Jimi Hendrix and SRV, it's always a great place to research rock and blues. Find more of it, listen and feel it, and it will hold you in good stead for the future. Keep going Yasi you know you can be the best, I would love to come and see you play one day.
