  • Keeps giving an error of specified file not found while trying to install the IR driver. Any solutions to this? I am using W7 home premium 64bit. Thanks in advance.

  • I am using Win 7 32 bit. I got past the IR part just fine, I get stuck at the screen where you are testing channel changing. I click on "Yes, the set top box changed channels correctly" , then I get a dialog to enter a channel, I do that on the keypad or the keyboard, press enter, then click the "Yes" radio button again.. stuck in that loop. any help?

  • @mikethecoolist It comes with Windows Vista and Windows 7, on all editions except Basic.

  • Some times answers to some errors requires you to just restart the pc and try again. Some times it may not work. It worked for me. I restarted the pc then followed the instructions. My problem now is that I cannot get sound

  • Tried to add hardware in wizard, and it said 'an error occurred during the installation of the device. The system cannot find the file specified' That was after I clicked on the file just as in the video

  • I was so stinkin' excited that I found a solution. I installed the driver and it still doesn't work. I still get to the IR error screen. :(

  • When I installed the drivers, I got a blue screen. Windows failed to launch, I was in a panic! I was able to restore using a restore point, but com'on, what gives? I am using 32 Bit Vista.

  • It's not allowing me to install the drivers because their not x64. Anyone have any ideas?
