Good morning, Cheryl Sterling! Thanks for posting. When I was a child, I taught myself to knit initially by using a library book. I accidentally taught myself how to knit without turning the work. When I took up knitting as a college student, I couldn't remember how I had knit without turning. Thanks again.
@kraftymomma1979 You are very welcome. I tried learning from a book when I was a kid too. I could do it, but not well. It wasn't until the advent of YouTube that I really learned and it stuck. All hail YouTube!
That's how I knit backwards, too. Still hold the yarn in my left hand, but throwing.
