Any tests done with payload on this model? What can it actually pick up? In relation it would indicat what would be able to be pick up if you scale it up
@bollejantje not necessarily Karmov company builds "heli" helicopters. And they dont have any tailrotor. It uses coaxial rotor system. So not all heli has a tailrotor
@bollejantje Yes now you mention it. But dont think its a UAV more like a RC ( seems like he is controling it as RC ) Then again. Where is the line between UAV and RC "helis" :P
Thank you, Professor Heri Coanda, of France, the inventor, and thanks to Jean-Louis Naudin, whose website I have enjoyed and posted on for nearly ten years.
I have a question for you - let's say you were to put a small jet-engine on top of one of these (assuming it is made of a more durable material ;)). Would the lift generated be more substantial for a heavier payload?

great concept. would like to see one refined further; maybe a microprocessor helping to dampen the stability - sort of like fly-by-wire.

@anariaq
maybe not,
but still this isn't a helicopter, it's a UAV using the coanda effect for flying.

SORRY ,You are WRONG : HENRI COANDA was a ROMANIAN inventor. Chech in Wikipedia.
In 1910 he designed, built and piloted the first 'thermojet' powered aircraft...
