We pray towards the EAst and its in Torah, read your Word and understand Judaism as David prayed we pray.. Read Ezekiel and see how the elders pray towards the EAST... come on now..
This is hilarious! You know, usually you see artists on the road haveing a hard time finding drugs, not praying. I have a similar problem, my wife insists on haveing a painting of cats on our wall and I have to remove it everyday. Women! What do you do?
Just pray. It doesn't matter where your at. It's not what you face. It's who are you praying too. Think of Jonah or Daniel. Did they have an ideal place to pray. Jonah in a stomach and Daniel facing a bunch of lions.
Love your love for God and making sure your doing everything right in His eyes. Keep that reverance for the Holy God.
@kirkoverstreet i don't remember the bible saying anything about praying facing towards Jerusalem. shouldn't it be who you pray to and not where you pray to? if your jewish please educate me on this matter.
It's not a criticism. Everybody can and should worship how they want to. When worshiping God, He knows and sees your heart, and if rules get in the way, it sort of hampers having a real relationship with Him. It's just my perspective of things, it's not meant to be a criticism of how others worship. That's what I was trying to get at.
Not as corny as your comment or this video. If you can understand this saying "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath" and accept it, then it just might make sense to you.
You're convicted xlamentx because I saw right through your corny christianese, like I said. And the quote from the christian book proves such. You're on track toward t'shuvah by remembering Shabbat. But sunday is when you attend church. feel free to listen to the music, but to slander one of your saintly idols is hypocritical and typical of born again mormons and orthodox armenians.
What kind of slander are you talking about? Are you dreaming once again in your delusional brain-washed world? I don't think there are such people called "born-again" Mormons. That's mostly reserved for those who consider themselves Evangelical, and I am not either. I have never heard of Orthodox Armenians slandering any of their saints. I have never heard of any Orthodox do it, unless your personal mind-control propaganda teaches you so. Lay off the kool-aid, you'll be OK.
"What kind of slander are you talking about?" To quote whoever you are xlamentx: "Not as corny as this video". the "born again mormon" and "armenian" are your friends, from the looks of your channel xlamentx. just admit it: you're a christian. possibly orthodox christian. and "hardcore".
I guess christianese isn't corny to you then, xlamentx.
Wow man, you want to pin me down by my so-called "friends"? I don't even know these guys. They requested to add me. I didn't go out looking for them. I think the guy under "born-again mormon" is an evangelical trying to convert mormons, which is far from me. If you feel that you can profile a person based on some fake friends he has online, then you're just plain stupid and ignorant. And it doesn't take a genius to figure out from my quotes that I'm Orthodox. Congratulations, Sherlock.
"Do you wish God to hear your prayer immediately, brother?" asks Abba Zenon. "When you lift your hands up to heaven, pray first of all, with your heart, for your enemies and God will grant you speedily whatever else you request."
Fascinating vidyo actually, todah. The collective face of East Asian Ninjewry facing West would be much more honorable. At least we'd have a veil covering us like Sh'Khinat.
On a timely related note, Kever Yosef, whose exterior was painted green, makes davening-shokeling in Shechem and its navigational extension even more of a challenge, doesn't it. Greater kavannah is a martial artform.
You'd think the house of blues décor would be painted blue. Galut sure is strange. Midwest to Mideast!

We must now build the 3rd temple JHWH, on Mount of Olives, for our prosperity and world peace
We must create a new world order without:
1-Satanism, 2-pornography 3-bank seigniorage
and enriched by a new universal humanism
Or everything will be destroyed in the 3rd world war, or with major disasters
We must give our children and small children around the world hope concrete:a possible future political SHALOM

xlamentx may have quoted from the NT but, from what I understand, the same concept is also found in Talmud ...
Rabbi Jonathan ben Joseph said: For it is holy unto you; I.e., it [Shabbat] is committed to your hands, not you to its hands. - Talmud: Yoma 85b
