As for permission to assemble. That's streaching ti a little. You don't need a permit to assemble in small groups but if your talking about a expected large protest, where public safety and city disruption may occur, then yes a fair warning and permit is needed.

The Fed didn't take over anything. It was adopted by our Congress and set up by the congress with rules and mandates, it wasn't a take over. Yes I think a audit is in order and I hope it happens. And not I do not like the new ruling from the courts.

Yes, the free speech zones came into being after Bush Jr decided to invade and occupy Iraq. There was a great fear that someone would try and harm him as he went around the nation giving speeches and campaigning for re-election. Wonder why Fox didn't organize back then to form a some sort of group to protest that action? But now you don't hear much in the way of any being used.

As for permission to assemble. That's streaching ti a little. You don't need a permit to assemble in small groups but if your talking about a expected large protest, where public safety and city disruption may occur, then yes a fair warning and permit is needed.

It is the job of emergency preparedness to be able to mobilize ES when they see a need. If you have to ask permission to do something, IT AIN'T A GOD GIVEN RIGHT!
Emergency preparedness maintains contingency plans for most events that might occur including events. There's no legitimate excuse for permits. If you are concerned, you can notify them at the time of the gathering. Permits allow for prevention of the free exercise of your rights.

False, free speech zones were created on campuses across the country to begin depriving university students of their God-given rights. They were protested and when those kids went to jail for defending the constitution, it didn't even make the news. It was a sad day in American History. Those fascist "zones" are illegal and had nothing to do with Bush events. They were about teaching kids they aren't allowed to speech out publicly which is a lie.

When protesting outside of schools I have parents fearful that I am going to go to jail because they have been conditioned to believe that public protests are illegal. Go out and protest the body scanners in the airports and see what happens. Refuse to be scanned and see what happens. Go to the next G20 meeting in the US and protest. We'll see you in jail!

I am intrigued absolutely by the premise, however, I would hope there would be ideas of what individual citizens can do to become galvanized against a common enemy.
