Chris Chelios was 48 years old still playing in the National Hockey League, and he's now 49 in talks with a KHL team in Russa which is the #2 league in the world....how people can say his workout sucks is beyond me.
Chris Chelios is my hero. I play defence for Hartford Jr Wolfpack and Ive taken Chris hour of power as inspiration and used it to create my own. Here it comes ... Leg Squats x 50 twice Press Ups x 25 Lunges x 10 Sit Ups x 40 twice Burpees x 15 Calf Raise x 200 each leg squat thrusts x 10 Bicep Curl - x 40 twice - repeat all above 3 times - Skip for 5 mins - Treadmill - run 3 mins then walk for 2 mins... 5 times then run for 5 mins and then time for a rest phew... :)
FU without doubt...it shows on the ice as well as testament to his superior training. BTW is Chelly on 3rd line these days? Have a hard time catching the Wings, unless of course when they are schooling the Hawks. Would love to see him skating at his age.
Always liked Chelly---but as a competitive bodybuilder, he WAY overtrains. WAY too fast movements. Not gonna build much size this way. But that being said, for his chosen sport, it works!
HIT training by the late Mike Mentzer works 10 times better than volume training anyday.
oh yeah. Your muscular endurance is great if you can make it through this workout. You really have to push yourself though. It is easy to try to take breaks or slow down.
I doubt that his trainer would reveal everything that he does because other guys would steal his stuff. I haven't looked too hard, but you might be able to find it. If you do let me know.
how do you know Chilly does this ?

we didn't end up puking, but we brought the trash can over just in case. It's nice to have to throw water over your head too.
